The Good News Thread...

my good news is, my OH likes to DJ and last night we got an email asking him to DJ at a night in April. He wont get paid for it but he is on the bill with some VERY famous people, and heres hoping it will lead to something big for him!

I went to sleep wondering what Fatboy slim earns these days....

My good news is; My husband and I have saved and made so much money that we have started to get cocky and splashing the cash again. ( I know not good news, but bare with me). So a couple of days ago he ordered a dvd box set for £8.99 that was just a complete waste. We then had a talk and realised we had both gone back to buying rubbish, so he listed the dvd set on Amazon adnd we have just had an email saying it has sold for £17. So not only have we got back on track but our mistake has made us money too! Very very happy :j

My good news for today is this.

I have been invited to the theatre this evening and then out for a meal afterwards. I was really looking forward to the theatre but nervous about how much I'd spend on the meal. Was debating whether it would look funny if I declined the meal.

Anyway, got a text this morning telling me the meal is cancelled and so wont look rude but still saving that money so no guilt.

Brilliant! Dilemma solved.

I've been on strike since 1st January, not doing overtime. Got a letter this morning to say it's been suspended! I can do overtime again and get back on to clearing my debts instead of living hand to mouth :j

my good news is that i have got my debts down to under £60K and i sold 2 wheat bags today for £7.00 so I had a pound coin for my trolley at the supermarket and money to put in my friends baby's birthday card he is one tomorrow aaahhhh- cant beleive it has gone so quickly.

good news for today dh has been asked to drive a minibus load of the blokes on there night out as he is giveing up his friday night(not that we would have done anything) they are paying him 80.00 unfortunatly its already spent! idiot dh ignored his parking ticket(we went shopping he put ticket in car wrong side up) we have a letter to pay 95.00 within the next 14 days :mad: in one hand out with the other

Yet more good news - Ive just sold my first book on green metropolis!

My good news today is that I managed to fit in a hair cut... :j ...after 4 months!!! Sooooo relieved, it was really getting into a bit of a state!
