Nelski,
Now, although it is absolutly lovely to see you posting, you are letting your imagination run away with you againyou know full well that is not your yacht, or your OH, you were visiting Johnny and I on OUR exclusive yacht :D
Mrs Mix, nice to see you posting xx0 -
Evening all
Lovely to see you posting Nels & Mrs Mix.
Thriftlady, teenagers are no problem what so ever, you just need to remember one thing, you are wrong & you are the worse parents in the entire world, then they get a bit older & suddenly you are the best thing since slice bread.
I'm really going to miss the lodger when she goes home on Saturday, but I won't miss the swathes of doghair that mean I have to vacuum twice a day.
Work is going very badly, but I won't bore you with the details.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester

Lovely to see you back Nels & Mrs M, don't worry Nels, we'll set H-J on Pink, and unfortunately Pen-Pin is upset with us. Popped to see some friends in York, and got persuaded to a glass or two in the sunshine. Got most of the clothes away just a few to finished so I can get in bed.

HJ will not be setting upon anyone. I got in enough trouble the last time i disagreed with someone on OS.;):p Anyway. I always agree with Pink cos she is luverly. :A
And Nelski will you stop with the pics please.I don't like pretty boys . I have an aversion to half naked men, especially those with a smaller waist than me. ;)Go and cook something and empty your DW. Now! Good Lord, I feel like mentioning your name has summoned the OS devil.:p
Mrs Mix :hello:
Happy Birthday Mr Churchie. Did she give you anything nice?:whistle::D
Tru.... We need you to keep us on the OS straight and narrow. I can't bear it if you stop posting.
I'm sitting outside on the decking on my new garden chairs which I spotted on the grabbit board last week. solid wood for £7.50 each. It looks like it will rain tonight but just now the view is beautiful especially as an old tree has been cut down further down the road which interrupted our view of the sea. :j
Got all my jobs done bar cleaning out the car as the garden was calling me. Everything is growing well, especially the peas and mangetout. The toms are in their baskets in the greenhouse and most of the strawbs have flowers on. :jplanted some more carrots, beetroot, turnip, lettuce, rocket and radish this afternoon and moved the cauliflower and cabbage to their final beds.
I need to put the ironing away in a bit, then have a button to sew on my coat. It has always had loose buttons. Have lifted sausagemeat out of the freezer to make some sausage rolls in the morning. Also various reduced fish packs to cobble together a fish pie for the weekend.
Enjoy your evenings everyone.

Well I've got 80 onions, 22 broad bean plants and 30 tomato plants growing, do you think that's enough? There's lots of other things too, but in 'normal' amounts  I think I need to find the recipe thread, for veggie food

Evening folks!
Hugs to all who want/need them!
Well, the gas man has reduced my direct debit by £4 per month - so leaving the heating off until November, restricting my hours of use, and turning it back off on 1 April has paid off!
I have decluttered my lounge of an old microfiche reader - it has tonight gone to a good home with a family history society. It was given me free, I never used it, it collected dust and giving it away gives me the whole top of a filing cabinet to cover with more paperwork!
Other than that, I am in the process of making my pack-up for tomorrow before collapsing into bed. But tomorrow is payday and I get my hair cut on Saturday, so I shall look on the bright side!
Good night, sleep tight!

Very little done in Mean Mansions to-day, I felt tired all morning and eventually gave in this afternoon and fell into bed and slept for about 3 hours...feel tired again now so not sure what's going on, blood pressure may be down...DD4 said that I could be heard snoring all over the house 10 minutes after I went to bed!
Sleep well everybody

Nelski - thank you so much, you don't know how much seeing your pics have helped. I have just had death by photo album.
Hester - you do not write in a boring way at all, in any way whatsoever. I can tell you will miss the lodger, but perhaps you will get another one just as nice.
Little bear is asleep, long may this continue. He had his first skinned knee today after a altercation with the kerb. It stopped him for seconds.
I am genuinely sorry if I have missed someone or not mentioned someone I should. Brain is not linked up to any motive power.
Tomorrow I need to cook something interesting for tea. I have no idea. I suspect sausage and mash with some nice carrots and gravy may happen, if I can get a chance.
Saturday night is casserole, Sunday is roast pork, I have the makings of sandwiches in. Though I have insufficient chocolate.
Thanks for 'listening'. My darling father is putty in LB's paws so I have had to run round a lot to stop anything expensive happening and I feel quite tired.
