Just getting changed and then racing off to get my hair done (I look like the dulux dog, but not as cute!!)

Went to Tesco yesterday and treated myself to two new pairs of lightweight summer trousers and a top when I caught sight of myself in a full length mirror

It's back to low carbing again as this is ridiculous!!!!!! I really need to start putting my health first instead of chomping junk when I get fed up with the house not selling- oops- Freudian slip there!!!!! And very illuminating!!!!

Hugs to all and see you later

Special hug to Powie and Sunny

I would send you "Rainbow Bridge but need to dash!

    :hello: Good morning!

haven't read the reat of the thread yet but will catch up in a minute - in the meantime CONGRATS to anyone with birthdays or anniversaries today. ((((HUGS)))) to everyone who needs some!

WM is on yet again  with bedding this time. It's another lovely day, so will be able to dry it outside :j

Got a bargain yesterday. DH and I went to Bluewater to see if I could get some new t-shirts in M & S (No, was the answer - they're trumpeting "New sleeve and body length" so they are now too long for me :p) but we were looking in Lakeland's windows and they had some pale blue hand towels on display for £4.88 - not the cheapest i've seen, but I do really need some new ones to replace some of the kitchen ones. So in we went, but couldn't find the towels anywhere in the shop. In the end i asked an assisant, and it turned out that they were no longer stocking the towels, but they could sell me the ones out of the window. And then the manager said that as they were "discontinued" I could have them for half price :T They turned out to be not cotton but microfibre, so will dry really quickly.

Not sure what we're doing today, but hope it won't involve a supermarket:rolleyes:

Hope everyone has as good a day as possible and that all the hurt hands are healing well!

Stefejb - Happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely day and enjoy your weekend!

Shez - Hello, lovely to see you back x

  • Hi Guys!

A little tender today but still here:D

WM has been on twice with bedding and on line thanks to OH. Dinner tonight is Spagbol that OH made yesterday with reduced minced lamb and he has frozen half of it as there was loads. DW has been emptied too, so house lovely, tidy and organised.

Have another hospital visit tomorrow. I am bruised and sore where ive been proded and poked.

Friends have invited us to a BBQ Saturday, so looking forward to that.

Did an order with Ocado this morning for tommorow and used a £15 voucher off a £60 spend. Totalled with the discounts and deals I saved £40 and cost £62 inc delivery. That included alot of meat, poultry and fish, so very happy.

    Anyway, I had better go!

Hugs to all and sorry if Ive missed anything.

    PP

Morning all....................(((((((((((((((((((((((hugs )))))))))))))))))))) if you need one....................

:bdaycake:Happy birthday to the birthday people, I have been 35 for the past 30 years!!!!!:bdaycake:

Another loevly morning, we slept in did not wake until after 9am so a slow start to today. OH is playing bowls this afternoon, must remind him to take his hat and water with him.......I have a visit to Aldi planned for some fruit and veg after I have dropped OH off.

Nothing else planned for today, cannot finish the bedroom window until it cools off a bit, the sun is straight in your eyes, gives me a headache after a bit.......the kitchen window can wait until I clean the kitchen and get a rail up for the curtains. I did the kitchen floor again it comes up brighter each time I do it. Its in very bad condition but I am not replacing it and I cannot see our erstwhile landlady forking out another £200+, its a big kitchen, so soon after having to pay for all the things that have had to be done.

We are still waiting for the chap to come and re-hang the garage door, must give the agents a nudge.........

I did a quick trip to Tesco yesterday in view of the wine going up, I bought 2 bottles of a wine we had not had before, we opened the red last night and it was very nice indeed, no rough edges, iyswim.........looking forwad to trying the white.......

No supper for OH tonight he gets 'tea' at the club, so I will do myself an omelette or something. HM fish and chips tomorrow.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Morning all.

Happy Birthday to Stefjb and Mr Churchmouse.

Powie sorry to hear about Dingle - remember, while he lives on in your heart, he's not truly gone.

Nice and sunny here again today; put the WM on last night, so had to get Mr LW out of his pit in time to help me hang the stuff outside - I can no longer lift his jeans high enough to peg them up, and there were two pairs of them in the load. Fetching them in is easier, just put the laundry cart underneath, release the pegs, and let gravity do the rest LOL.

Dins tonight will be 2nd half of the quiche I made yesterday, will prob do a few chips to go with. I think there's still some HM raspberry sorbet in the freezer, so may have that for pud, if we want a pud.

Have a good day all, ((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today.

I Wish some of the oldies would come back. Like whatatwit, tatty cath, nels etc. ;) Where are you tru? :p

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Haribo x

Well blimey oreilly I haven't read this thread for ages and the day I do I get a mention:D I will now translate this to mean that it must happen every day ;):D Just a small point Mrs Junkie can you not suggest I am an oldie?? compared to some on here I am a mere child :rotfl:(and compared to some I am not.............yeah I know:D)

Anyway I don't post anymore cos at times I would bore myself rigid on here trying to think of some stuff that would be considered old style - see I never really did get why cooking and cleaning constitutes old style when everyone has to do it really, old style I guess to me is stuff like make do and mend and reusing and washing on a mangle...........(not really but you get my drift) anyways I dont do much of that so I figured I would post when I did........ and thats why its been so long......... cos I dont.

Having said that I miss all the everyso civilised OS [STRIKE]fights[/STRIKE] discussions and I will admit to using lots of your recipes. So if you want piccys of fit men for your birthdays (ill hunt for some girls for N9eavs birthday) and the odd bit of gentle ribbing then I may sneak back in everynow and then but if I have to list what Im doing then I wont cos my list would be very very dull:D Waffle over and heres a little pressy for the gorgeous stefb for her birthday

you cant have the dark one on the right though I have bagged him;)

Right Im off and you can blame the lovely Haribo for the totally out of rules posting. I may empty the dishwasher at some point today or I may leave it (will that do:D)

Hugs to all (and happy birthday to Mr churchy)
