You're right, but if you want to make a recovery disc, you can, and then you release the local disk (which the system restore stuff was stored on) for more storage by deleting it via the program. Then if you want to restore, you use the disc.

Currys in Hamilton at the Palace Grounds had two of these today, they are both on display just check the model number on rear of machines or small white ticket on front with 767039 (product number) on them they are £219.99
