Here you go peeps. They're being prosecuted by Suffolk County Council’s trading standards department.0 -
Wonderful news , Ihope they lock them up and throw away the key. Its a shame they can't seize any assets like their house and pay back all the victims ,me included.0

Does anyone know whether this scum bag got locked up or not.
Last year he started a new company up .. StarzManagement and Entertainment Agency which was supposed to be a talent agency.
He had people turn up for auditions and promised them a fantastic wage etc for appearing in pantomines over Xmas 2010.
I was working for him as an office manager/pa without knowing about his past .. he was getting me to book theatres etc to put on the panomines and in my view was going to steal the box office takings and do a runner ..
I have never met such a loathesome character in my entire life .. lie after lie after lie .. he even said his wife had a brain tumor which I also believe is a lie .. what a thing to come out with !!?
I do have his home address but his email has been disabled now and both mobile phone numbers I had for him ..
He never paid me for the two months I was working for him but on a lighter note I do believe in Karma and what goes around comes around .. better watch your back Mr Fisher0 -
cried my heart out reading all these posts,im so sorry for all of you,and glad that the idiot got his just deserts.
I hope this doesnt put people off buying holidays on ebay,i have bought a few and have had no problems at all,in fact ive just booked another.
We did actually book a butlins one about 3 years ago and were lucky it was fine, but a few of the posters are right if butlins werent so expensife then people wouldnt have too look for cheaper alternatives,id love to go to butlins through them themselfes, but unfortunately it would cost us over £1000,so i have too book alterntifes instead, even when they offer discounts its still rubbish.
Hope you can all take some solcace in the fact that the munter was arrested, and hopefully the sumb bucket may get thrown in jail and they throw the key away xxxIt`s getting to the point0 -

Its so sad to read all these posts, i got scammed on a caravan a couple of years ago off someone on a classifieds site, i got suspicious 2 weeks before our hols when i had no confirmation to pick up keys, she wouldnt answer the phone, but luckily I had her address and my husband travelled to their house and after alot of argueing and the police involved i got my money back. Hope this fisher guy gets his just desserts!0

Just to let you know that there is hope of Michael Fisher getting what he deserves as he is due in court next week (6/6/11) so I will be keeping my eye on the Ipswich evening star website0

The very same person just employed 16 dancers, hired a theatre for 3 days, and a rehearsal venue for a week, hired scenery and costumes, booked printing for posters, put everyone up in a hotel, fed them in a restaurant, told them he had 3 months work in holiday centres and ferried them about in taxis. The trouble was, he didn't have any money to pay for it.
My impression of him is oddly not of an arch criminal, but of somebody simply out of his depth and a dreamer. I think he really did think his show would be a success - but he had no ability whatsoever, and putting shows on, a la Bill Kenright and Cameron Mackintosh takes real skill. Skills he was sadly lacking. Some of the businesses he scammed are small firms and although I'm a little out of pocket - some really got stung. The worst bit is the 16 young qualified professional dancers - who really thought they had 3 months work. If he is in court today, I wonder if this will get added in and adjourned, or will simply be another long delay for no money.
Locally, the understanding is that he did spend a night in the cells when somebody read about the Butlins history and put two and two together - but you have to hand it to him for perseverance!0
