Spending time together is one of the things that relate suggested when I went. It`s easy to become caught up in being parents and forgetting that you were once a couple and need to spend time as such.0

I agree it is sensible for you to try and resolve the problem if he is willing.
I also think it will help to know you have tried everything if you do end up separating (and I really hope you don't).
I know I tried everything to save my marriage, including counselling (two different types), but it wasn't to be.
Although I feel sad about that, I also know it was not going to get any better and our children were suffering as a result. They were suffering more than I was in fact, and my ex was oblivious to everything (kind of says it all).
We didn't argue though, or very rarely if we did - it was nothing that simple for us, unfortunately.
But anyway, I wish you all the best with it. Let us know how you get on.0 -

Hi,
I would phone the child tax credit helpline. They will inform you what you are entitled to. I was in a similar situation to you a few years back and was amazed what financial support was available.
Once they have agreed your level of child tax credit they also advise what other benefits you can claim.
Their is a normal landline number for them 01355 359007, cheaper than the 0845 they advertise and they answer fatser too
Hope this helps
