    Afternoon. :hello:

My Bookie-esque saga with the gas meter man continues.
For those of you not keeping up with the plot, I was let down yesterday and re scheduled for this morning at 8am.

I scuttled off to work and arrived for 8am to see the gas man parked up, woo hoo I thought :D
Into the shop he comes and inspects my meter, yes it is rather large  He then inspects my boilers ;)
Hmmmm, I won't be able to do the exchange now.....you need a ...... So, a new time is agreed for 6.30pm tonight.

About 11 o clock, I get a call from my colleague at work, the man's here to change the meter  I speak with him....no no he can't do 6.30 tonight.
So, once again we have re-booked, this time for next Thursday at 7pm.
    Don't hold your breath folks.

In other news, it's sunny here and Miss Twit has got a dentist visit booked for 3.30 for an x-ray
Well done to all those who are baring legs, think I need to do some serious de-fuzzing and gardening first :)

Becky can only 1 person receive text alerts then? I thought you could just text to a number and it would text you back where on the course they are??

No it texts you that URL - only works with WAP enabled phones - but more than one person can use the URL at any one time of course - you can then choose to 'follow' someone - i.e. get text updates of their progress

Aww, poor Nathan, little boys are like that though.
Elli didn't even manage so much as 1 night in his cot!
    ...Linda xx

    Thanks Linda
He's actually pretty good at night - 1 feed at some point between 1am and 3am, goes to slepp after an hour, almost like someone flicks a switch and not another peep until between 5.30 and 6.30. It's during the day he's sometimes difficult to get in his cot. Occasionally have to resort to the dreaded dummy!

    Luc,
Some babies are more 'sucky'. Both mine were sucking their thumbs in their scans and I sucked my finger til I was 10, my Mom sucks her thumb and my sister as well. Joe and Freya still suck their thumbs.

Yeah - Ireckon he will be a thumb sucker when he finds out how:rotfl:my Mum was and apparently she used a dummy to try and stop me and I don't do it, although my brother did.

Hey - do you reckon I could get massive amounts of government funding to see if thumb sucking is genetic? They seem to spend cash such useless things all the time...:rotfl:

oh lets start a dummy v thumb debate....

only cos chloe has a dummy and it seems to be glued to her face...

DS sucked his thumb whilst holding the label of a toy gorilla and we could not stop him until we 'lost' the gorilla. All the rest have had dummies that we managed to get rid of when they were about three.

chloe has promised to give hers to the new baby.....
