We lost the dummy in Spain, along with a child and passport....so had to take a major detour to buy a new one. She howled until we bought her a new one and while we were queing to buy it (at 4.95 euros!!!!!) she fell asleep holding it......grrr....so we just put it back and drove home.
Don'cha just luv 'em!
But when they grow up its all been worthwhile:rotfl:

Thanks Sammy.
Tbh, I loved sucking my finger (and for those of you in the know-I still love my you-know-what
) and am quite happy for my kids to suck their thumbs-it comforts them and I love my thing that shall not be mentioned and cannot sleep without it! It makes me feel safe. We can all think of things other parents would never do ie. I don't give my kids 'fizzy pop' but lots of parents do, I think if on a whole kids are well mannered, well behaved and happy, it speaks much more for your parenting skilss then the 'I never would/did's' if that makes sense? Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Good times. That /\ sounds like the sort of statement where we have to guess what you have been doing.
ie; the statement is ' The first time, I was sick and the second time , my hat blew off!'.......what was I doing?
