Hi everyone
:bdaycake: Loopy and Princess
Crazy day, BM has been on, had to defrost the freezer as DS had not left the door totally closed while I was away, my neighbour had closed it after he went, but loads of ice about. The off to the hairdressers to become me again, had to have a slightly darker base shade as the sun had lightened me too much. Back to try to sort out desktop, it had gone into the "blue screen of death" during loading updates yesterday, so tried to recover it but no go, luckily under warranty so Medion collecting it Friday. Even luckier I have the laptop too, so still on line. Also luckily I had backed up everything before I went away to a usb drive in case I needed anything while away. Quick lunch some still warm bed - shared a slice with DH, and he had extra, followed by a yoghurt. DH had washed the car while I was at the hairdressers so, then we tackled the lounge and kitchen, unbelieveable how much dust was found while not in use. Rescued "Horace & Henrietta" from the bath (2 large spiders). Assisted DH in threading a wire for an additional plug in the caravan. Quick trip to the local caravan shop to get a matching plug. Dinner was chicken breasts and "Donny" sausage, with green beans, brocolli & cauliflower with a jacket potato for DH. Afters an apple with a few green grapes.
Waiting for the Apprentice, and watching the Speaker.

Is this some continental habit that you've picked up while you've been away DG? :rotfl:;)2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Sunnyday - Your post brought tears to my eyes tonight, as we had to make the heartbreaking choice to have our family dog put to sleep this evening. He had been suffering from heart problems for the past eight months and the tablets he has been on gave him a good quality of life. However since the weekend he had gone down hill rapidly. I am glad though that he is not in any more pain. Sorry for passing this burden onto any one reading this, but I am finding it hard to talk about it to my family. We were so lucky to have had the extra eight months with him that we were not sure were going to happen. Anyhow I hope everyday extra you have with your dog is a blessing. I know that Dingle was for me.A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0

Evening all - I'm meant to be packing but am very very busy here
Happy birthdays loupy and princess - hope you've had a lovely days
Big hugs to everyone having difficult times at the moment - its so hard when you're worried about others.
Off w*rk for the rest of this week and am going down to the new forest for a long solo camping weekend - bliss! having a walk across (a narrow bit of) the isle of wight while i'm there.
Next week is my last at the first proper job i've had since graduating and having the girls - today i have said goodbye to one of my favourite judges and to my manager who will be on paternity leave next week. Next week is going to be very hard - i've already been in tears most of today.
Tea tonight was very OS as I have done a mini-Tru! i left my keys behind this morning and only realised after i had locked my bike up outside w*rk. Not a major problem as i could get dd(12) to bring the key to me afte school - anyway she had different ideas and claimed to be too hot and tired to travel on her free bus pass to w*rk which is all of three miles away - GRRRRRR! big sis(19) gave her what for as i don't like to be screaming like a fishwife down the phone in front of my Smart W*rk Friends and she did turn up but has been mega sulky all night and was not put on this earth to be my slave apparantly. I quite agree and have repaid her by not being her bl**dy slave either. I think she had a cheese sandwich and is probably on the phone to childline and/or her Dad. Saying that though she has given me a teeny tiny crystal thing that she grew in science last week so it's not all bad. I have big gaps between the girls and pretty much just about recover from the last teentrauma before the next begins - sighI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080
