Yes...I entered the numbers without the spaces or hyphens.
It doesnt recognise me at allI remember registering  i must be registered so they can send out the cameras in the first place, they know my address and my email address.
I think I'll wait and see If I get an invoice.
Do they charge interest on the balance

If you click on "my account" and then "forgotten your password" then it will again prompt you to enter your customer number and then it will tell you if you are registered to access your account online. If you are not registered then it will ask you to register and you will presumably have to re-enter your details.
I can't think of anything to say about Empire that hasn't already been said, so I won't bother. :wall:
I got a statement from them just the other day (albeit "nil") but it did have a payslip attached, so you should soon be getting a statement telling you how much you have to pay. You should have also received a "welcome pack" when you received your parcel which gives you info on paying off your account.0 -

I was just coming to post about this! I'm staying at my boyfriends so I ordered the camera to come here, I didn't ask or put a code in for the free TV but my parcel arrived, TV, but no camera, I was mortified, more junk to try to find a home for! A tiny 5 inch tv black and white, I mean what am I supposed to do with that? I feel awful binning it, but its JUNK! I have so much junk everywhere!
Then this morning I get up and theres a TV licence form on my mat! What a cheek! Its bad enough that empire sent me a tv that i didnt ask for but then passing my details on to the TV licence brigade!! I dont even live here!! Obviously my bf has a TV licence, so I'm not quite sure what it is theyre playing at as theres one registered at this address?
I feel like sticking the whole lot in a box and posting it to the TV licence place. (without a stamp!)

When my BF bought a DVD recorder he gave my dad's address as it was for him. Subsequently the tv licencing people sent a form to my dad's address with my BF's name on. My dad just chucked it in the bin as council records show just my dad living at that address and he has a TV licence.
As for the little TV - I actually bought on for £10 from Woolworth's for my nana when she was in hospital. Sadly she died before I could give it to her, and a few weeks later I put the batteries in and gave it a try. It worked fine, and now I use it to watch the TV in the bath (batteries only, no plugs in the bathroom!), so the one you pay for must be better quality than the free one.
We opted for the free coffee maker which is crap. You can only make 2 cups of espresso at a time - what if you just want one!?
Had a huge row with Empire over the phone and they totally refuse to help or compensate for any time or trouble. I'm off work sick so I'm going to have to drag myself to the post office just so I can get my flipping £10 back.0 -
Free stuff ! .....Free stuff !!
all I got was 2 cameras I ordered.
I'm tempted to hang on to them till I get an invoice. Dont want to send them back if they dont know I got 'em

Can anyone state anything regarding Empire checks (which apparently is the only way Empire is capable to refund what I paid)?
I have been offered one for refund of these cameras, but I am not sure if they are considered an organisation trustworthy enough to accept a check from.
Anyone any experience on this?0 -
