I'm also going to buy a growbag. I have some freebie salad seeds so I'm going to give them a go in a growbag and hope I can keep the slugs off. My mum says vaseline will do the trick -any other ideas?
The only thing I have found that stops them is copper tape, its sticky on one side, perhaps you could stick it round your growbags ??
Don't forget toothpaste0 -

Thriftlady - I always save egg shells & put them round my plants to stop the slugs - been lucky so far.0 -

Hi, we've another beautiful day here in Durham. The NCT sale seemed to go well, I didn't bring too much stuff back. Now I just have to wait for my cheque! I had an opticians appointment yeaterday and bought myself 2 new pairs of glasses. I'm hoping to get rid of some stuff to a freecycler today and we're taking my sons dollshouse to a friend of his (she gets to borrow it, but only if she doesn't paint it pink!)
Last night I heard a funny noise upstairs, when I went to look DS2 was standing on the landing quite upset. He said "Mummy my nose has turned into a rabbits!" What he meant was that he had an itchy twitchy nose.
I'm just about to put my 1st load of washing out, and the 2nd load in. I've no idea what we're having for tea tonight, but it will need to be quick and easy as I'm out at my quilting group and DH has people coming round - so I need to tidy up so that it's possible to walk across the floor!0
