I have thses and they cost me £20 from Debenhams. I have very difficult hair but these are great, even if I don't blow dry it first.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

i have to say, as u will know from the 50000 other threads i have posted, i have had LOADS of straighteners, none of which were any good for my basically white afro wrecked long hair. i bought the glass ones when they first came out. they were crud to be honest, i took them back next day. they are even worse than the ceramic babyliss, they did nothing whatsoever to my hair and are the worst i have tried. i finally got ghds the other week and for the first time in my entire life i can get my hair ALMOST straight which is amazing for me. dont bother with them saying how high they heat up as a test to how good they are, in the box my ghds say only 190 but they are twice as hot as the 210 babyliss i used to have. if you have thin straight hair anyway then id say go for ceramic but anyone who has a mass of frizz will tell you ghds are the best, they are about my 6th pair and are 10000000% better than any other straightener i have had, there is such a difference....the serum i use is john frieda professional (£2 in home bargains) and the other best thing ever, charles worthington shine spray which flattens flyaway hair, again around £2 home bargains. i think i have tried 90% of all hair products (ie creams, conditioners etc) so if anyone has any qs about these feel free to ask!Fr.
