Thant's interesting YM, and quite surprising really. I was told I couldn't leave the court until I had spoken to the OR - or one of the clerks. Obviously different rules for different courts

Surprised me as well. Canterbury court for me

    Firstly congratulations Iquit.

Your story raised a couple of questions for me regarding the OR contact, is the initial contact always at the court or might it be later in the same day once you have left? Wondered which phone number to put for contact purposes. Also with regards to the telephone or f2f interview, is there some flexability with the date/time to allow for getting time of work etc? Thanks (and sorry to hijack thread!)

I think it may vary from court to court. The OR in my case is nearly 60 miles away. The first contact was brief (less than 5 minutes in total) and seemed to me to be about making sure I was not about to have bailiffs make off with property and to make sure I had a bank account at my disposal. With regards to phone number I gave them home and mobile, I want to be easily contactable. I'm sure if they offer an appointment on a day when I'm working I'll be able to negotiate for another day, after all if I don't work I don't get paid and if I don't get paid the OR will be out of pocket.

Thanks folks for the OR contact answers, might have to put works number down as a contact number then (they pretty much all know I'm going BR as its only a small Pharmacy).

'I'll now return you to the normal thread and we can continue to congratulate Iquit on her excellent start on the future!'
