Hugs Carol and those connected/affected - hard and a shock when it's someone so young and taken like that.

Todays washing ironed so that's a full house clean and tidy - Valli Towers is gleaming

    - I'd go with a rough overview (was that Grateful's suggestion?) so that you know where you are heading over the medium term. I would assume that getting it done in the week would be easier then you can have family time at the weekend. Do the boys go to nursery when you are at home too?
When I was training and my two were in bed earlier I would do it when they were in bed. Nowadays I am always too tired!

And what happened re leaving your son outside 'undressed'? You were going to complain if I recall...

It's a parade of Scouts, Beavers, Brownies and Guides from all over the area - I'm assuming - but I could be wrong, that they will meet outside Chesterfield Town Hall. They walk/march to the Parish Church of St. Mary and All Saints, have a service and speeches. It might be that AnWsMum's parade isn't THAT one though...not sure.
Parades like this are held in many towns.

Thanks for that valli....I guess we dont have that, well the Scottish equivalent, as it wouldnt be much fun marching at the end of November :rotfl:

Toots could I have a fourth star please? Done the bedroom.

Sat down with a coffee to watch tv for a bit. Thinking about setting up a finance spreadsheet, fun fun fun. Strangely I'm being serious.. I quite like playing around with spreadsheets.. If only the numbers weren't real...

Thankyou again for all of the nice thoughts, it really does make a difference.

    Frodders - well done!
Vanilla - trust me, the two weeks will be over in the blink of an eye before you know it. Glad you're keeping well. The babe will come when he's ready.

Went for a long walk with the dog this morning, and the camera, to find a subject for my first week's OU assignment. Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Tried cobbling something up from home and that failed.

Then the sun came out again late afternoon and suddenly I had the perfect shot in my kitchen - the sun shining off a drawer knob (which was, of course, sparklingly clean!).

Currently cooking roast dinner. Which will be ready eventually.

Well off to pack my bag for work...
will probably pop back shortly but we'll see.
Am looking forward to this week -
Monday afternoon - PPA I leave at 2pm!
Tuesday - ICT briefing - out all pm
Bought DD a Friends Companion (first 5 series) yesterday (have put it away for xmas). She is reading the Twilight books (Stephenie Meyer) and enjoying them immensely. "If," she said "there was a 'Friends' book I probably wouldn't want to read that..."
    Oh GOOD!:o

All the staff do because there is NOWHERE to work in the building. The staff room is used for group work so we can't work there; the head shares an office with the clerk anyway...mind you slightly better than another school I know where the head has his desk in the staff room...they too go off site.
