TOOTS finally got there but all 5 stars for me please

Havent quite finished the ironing but will aim to do that tonight also havent managed to do the gardening bits i wanted to do today but again may potter tonight and get them done.

amazing what you can do in half an hour!

Ordered plug plants from T & M using up some vouchers in my drawer - so for the extra £ odd I will have 84 busy lizzies and 48 geraniums for my pots.

Iced and put away the buns.
Put bread loaves into bake.
Prepped and put on veg, in steamer, for dinner.
Washed up and wiped all worksurfaces, and Chef.
Cleaned out a cupboard and chucked some old stuff and have only replaced what we use.
Filled cereal containers.
Found timer's back - lost behind the micro - DH to mend later.
Emptied microwave.
Cleaned WM drawer.
Put recycling into car to drop off on way to work tomorrow.

Quick cuppa, then another HHC to take me to dinnertime I think,

Hello all, not caught up from the weekend, but it seems Boddy and Carol22 need some (((hugs)))

Am doing my recorded welsh interview at 5 with a friend but just wanted to say thanks to Toots for my and hopefully will have another one this week, will catch up after my interview

Oh yes wanted to ask, Who's daughter got married yesterday, and was it in Sheffield?

And I so need to do the jobs that are left on thursdays list but I've run out of steam. Been busy in the garden this afternoon & got loads done there too so all in all its been a very productive day.

ETA- I've just seen the fab dancing smarties for getting 5 stars so I might have to find a bit more energy later to finish thursdays list!!

Thankyou so much for your kind thoughts everyone, we haven't ahd any more news yet so boyf isn't sure if he'll be going over to Ireland later in the week. His friend from over there is ringing when he finishes work tonight. It's very strange, I've been in a different world all day, and I'd only met the guy a handful of times.

I feel like I need to do something productive as I've been in a daze all day so I'm going to go and have a look on my list and see what to do.

My list

1. Get bags ready for the new week
2. Wash any bedding that has been missed this week
3. HHStudy again
4. Put away any winter coats/boots/clothes you won't be wearing (we hope) for a few months
5. Update the finance spreadsheets.. it should be payday about now for those paid monthly - for this read 'make a finance spreadsheet'
6. binbag dance!

I'll join you Froddy, I'll sort the winter clothes and by bag for tomorrow, then a binbag dance.

That's the kitchen and bathroom done so stars for Tuesday and Wednesday. Pretty pleased that I managed to get them done and get the stars because this week has been a frantic one - back in school full time (have been doing three days in school and two days on secondment which gave me a bit of flexibility) and new head teacher too so everyone on best behaviour!

Been and waved off my daughter - a bit sad but will actually see her next weekend as I am going up there. Managed a couple of hours reading (snoozing ) in the sun and now going to attack the jungle out there - surprised the neighbours haven't complained that I'm bringing down the area with my unkempt appearance :rotfl:

Have some work to do later for school and will aim for a bit of flying too...
