  • My MIL is the anti-Flylady and thinks it is very amusing that I sweep the floors every day and insist on no shoes in the house...wish me luck people.

Think yourself lucky, mine checked under the sofa cushions on her first ever visit to see if I had hoovered under them - hadn't of course!

Small world eh! Apparently it is a Rev Green at the moment (according to the parish website) We are currently trying to recruit a new rector for our church, it's a very frustrating process as only one application can be progressed at a time and it's not advertised until the present incumbent leaves (our rector retired in Nov of last year)

Good enough reason for them not to visit ;) mine does not come to our house. In the 10 years we have been here I can probably count the number of visits on the fingers of one hand, the olny live 3 miles away. Suits me fine though

Sorry to hear the news Boddy but I'm glad your DD had seen her before her ending, at least she had someone who truly cared about her, there for her. Hope your DD is ok. xx

    Hi all
Not much flying today as boyfriend has some very bad news overnight, someone we know in Ireland has passed away in a car crash. He was only 18, and wasn't wearing a seatbelt, so please all of you, ALWAYS wear your seatbelts, and especially make sure that your children do. We think someone else has died in the crash as well, but don't know if it is someone we know. Boyf is a bit upset about it, especially as he is over here and won't be able to get to the funeral.

The shower head has come up really well, thanks for putting it on the list Pigpen, and the helpful tip Roxy.

Boddy, my thoughts are with your DD.

Have read through my notes again, I'm just going to potter a bit today. Its amazing how something unexpected can knock you for six.

Lots of love and hugs to everyone,
    xxx
