Have to report that it's bright, sunny and warm in Valliland (as ordered by AnWsMum - wouldn't dare do anything else, would it LOL). Have two small loads of washing out on line (and they have been out a while) put yesterday's aired ironing away and ironed some more - but I have stuck the maiden in front of my bedroom window as the sun is streaming in and the house is warmer at the front than the back, so that it airs off quickly. (I steam iron so it does need a good air)
Nice one Tag wind 'em up.
Nice to hear the meet was enjoyed.
Toots 'tis the lovely and adorable ***heart throbs*** Philip Glenister currently to be seen as Gene Hunt in Ashes to Ashes, the follow up to Life on Mars, recently seen in Cranford and he used to be Mac in Clocking Off. He is the brother of Robert Glenister who was formerly married to Amanda Burton (New Tricks) and who was recently seen in Spooks as Home Secretary (I think) and Hustle as a hustler.
Don't watch much TV me LOL
(Now if anyone in Valliland needs a player for a pub quiz team...)

Thursday - childrens rooms and spare room
I have no childrens rooms or spare rooms, and I'm going out tonight, so I think I may have a day off from flying. I will post what I have done later though if I end up being productive!

Hmmm...I feel like I have done nothing this week, and then I look at that and think "Yay" :rotfl:

I can't cross anything else off the lists, but this weekend I have:

    • Cleaned the bathroom again (Hair dying incident)
    • Two loads of washing (Soon to be three)
    • Made big roast dinner last night
    • Made chicken stock in slow cooker
    • Made soup at 8.30am today
    • Cleaned chaos in kitchen
    • Cleaned out one kitchen cupboard
    • Reorganised all my plastic containers
    • Divided up soup into freezable portions - four portions big enough for two and one for three (Will feed my flatmate today too, I'm nice like that!)
    • Emptied all the bins
So, not bad going really. Bring on next week!

Rosepink meant to say earlier: well done on your day out, it wont have been easy but you can take strength from it and use it for next time, well done. and I'm sooooooo envious re British Museum, I'd kill to go there lol

K, finances were giving me a headache earlier but they're sorted now, I was trying to find a spare £120 for the first window but I jiggled it :T Had £30 to spend on food shopping for this week and I've done it, just been to asda with a list, mind you had a lot of stuff in already but I still did it. Weeks menu written and up on the fridge.

Hung a load of washing on the line and another one that I found lurking in a basket in the porch ( ) is on the maiden outside.

Just waiting for DD1 to come round and littley to be dropped off then were off to a flying visit to GD's, need to go and get the Scholls for DIL too I'll take them seeing as were going anyway, then DD1 drop off at work.

Toots how's the building work going, has the dust stopped settling yet? :D

Of course we won't shout at you.
15 mins in every hour rest? Shouldn't that be the other way round?
You are supposed to be taking it easy today.

Just popped on to say Jue and TAG, sorry, I havent forgotten the jammies. They are still sitting beside me lol. I've just been so busy with my assessments. I'll get them sent off at the end of the week. I dont have a PO near me so I usually go in my lunch break, but not at work for 2 weeks now, yey!!

Hope everyone is well, esp toots. GnB Happy Birthday :bdaycake: for yesterday. You are the one flylady birthday I should remember as you share it with my Nan! The weather is lovely here today, so hope its lovely with you AnW'sMum. I'm intrigued by a St George's Day Parade. I wonder what that is?

I'm heading off to Majorca next Saturday and I've got so much to do, I dont think I'll be on here until I come back.

See you all in May  xx

It's a parade of Scouts, Beavers, Brownies and Guides from all over the area - I'm assuming - but I could be wrong, that they will meet outside Chesterfield Town Hall. They walk/march to the Parish Church of St. Mary and All Saints, have a service and speeches. It might be that AnWsMum's parade isn't THAT one though...not sure.
Parades like this are held in many towns.

    Morning all

Glad that everyone got back from the meet ok, i was gutted to have to run off (and had I known DH had bought a poussin sized chicken which didn't need much cooking I could've stayed another half hour!)

My plan for today is mainly to chill, finish the washing up from last night - MiL kindly did a good chunk of it - and do a bit more flying. DH and I might go for a walk at lunchtime just to get some air.

sexy - my roast potatoes turned out pretty well, we're eating all the leftovers up tonight with sausages ;)

Right, off to find my list and update what I managed to do last night.
