    Morning lovelies!

Lovely and sunny again today so WM on as we speak to take advantage of the good weather -as you do! actually we ALL do, don't we :D

Just got a bit of upkeep to do on the house today, nothing major. Visiting GD later then dropping DD1 off at work, planning on cutting both the front and the back grasses today then wheeling round to OH's and doing his, and that's pretty much it.

ETA: Hadn't realised it was the Marathon today, ooooh I'll watch a bit of that.
  • Well I don't know about you other teachers out there but flying sort of went out of the window this week - back to school, tutoring three evenings and Saturday morning and trying to sort DD to go back to uni today so a bit of a week. However, hopefully things will calm down a little this week and might be able to achieve a bit of something.

Going to try to do some stuff this morning before go up to Kings Cross with DD and then a bit more when I get back, so aiming for two stars. Let's see what I have done this week (not sure whether worth posting but might shake me up a bit..

Own list of extras (not sure why I did this when I can't cope with the list on here

    15 tasks for this week
    1. sort out car insurance x 2
    2. [STRIKE]A’s phone[/STRIKE]3. put stuff in loft
    4. sort out magazines
    5. [STRIKE]30 mins filing[/STRIKE]6. sock drawer
    7. menu plan
    8. [STRIKE]cancel DD
    9. texts re Wed/Thurs
    [/STRIKE]10. email sis
    11. [STRIKE]post Amazon parcel[/STRIKE]
    12. get new key cut
    13. [STRIKE]sort out finances with A[/STRIKE]
    14. sew buttons on dress and mend cardigan and t-shirt
    15. PM Serena re trip

ok well not much done there so let's look at the weekly list...

Monday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!! -
    Level one completed - yippee!
None of the rest though - maybe a bit today, but main thing have kept tidy (except for DDs suitcases and packing now on living room floor )
    [STRIKE]Extra - Get a pile of filing done[/STRIKE]!! - done

Tuesday - Kitchen and dining room
Managed to s&s the kitchen so still looks ok but not cleaned properly - aiming to do today.
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary[/STRIKE][STRIKE]
    Degunge the fridge!

    [/STRIKE]

Wishywashy Wednesday ~ Study, bathrooms and loo
[STRIKE]Level One[/STRIKE] done by default as always manage to keep bathroom floor clear so no need to declutter and don't have a study so that's easy! Feeling better now (even though not done much!) - there are benefits to having a tiny house :rotfl:

    Level Two
[STRIKE]Sort out the toiletries cupboard.. wipe the shelves and make it all nice and neat[/STRIKE] done by chance last weekend in my last frenzy of flying before the end of the hols
[STRIKE]Defrag comp. delete 100 emails[/STRIKE] - deleted over 600 emails (thanks for putting it on the list PIGPEN as I've been meaning to sort out my inbox for ages!!
    !
Thursday - childrens rooms and spare room
No chance of this as DD still home and half packed. Will be attacking her room with gusto in the next couple of weeks - I may be gone a while :D

Friday frenzy- Master bedroom and landing!

    [STRIKE]
    Clear the floordrobe
    [/STRIKE]
    - the novelty hasn't worn off yet so still putting away when I go upstairs. The rest of the beddroom needs attention though.

    WEEKEND LIST!!

lots on this list I will need to do so will hopefully be ticking some of them off this weekend.

Ok enough time wasted so going to finish my cuppa and then HHC 8.30-9.00 - anyone around to join me? Would like to do it to loud music to spur me along but not sure DD would appreciate it and as her last lie in at home before going back to uni guess it will be a silent one!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Morning everyone.

A beautiful day out there today which is a surprise as the forecast was for wet stuff. I might dare to find some washing and put it on....

Then I'll go out and about with the camera and the dog for my first OU assignment.

    Morning everyone!

Sorry I didn't manage to get online last night, but I was so shattered after the meet that I just went straight to bed. I had a wonderful time, and serena has agreed that after all of the walking we did, I definitely worked off that huge chocolate brownie I ate at lunchtime! lol I was very good and resisted the urges to buy anything in primark whilst we were there, but it was nice to have a look and say I've been there (to the Marble Arch store). The tube was a bit hairy though, as the gates were closed for a while to prevent overcrowding, but we were still squashed in like sardines on the first leg of the trip. I do have one photo of all of us sat around the table after lunch, which serena's kind DD took of us all, but until I find my cable to link up to the PC, I can't put it online - it'll be going on the yahoo group site if I do, but if someone wants to transfer it to facebook group (I'm not on facebook) then that is fine by me. Many thanks rach for organising the walk, and to froddington for organising the meet. I'm really looking forward to the summer one. Did your roast potatoes turn out well rach?

Big hugs for all of you who need or want one - there seem to be lots of you having a tough time one way or another at the moment.

Happy belated birthday to GnB - sorry I missed the official day - I hope you had a wonderful time - that trip to the spa sounds amazing - I'm very jealous!

I've got a lot of flying to catch up with today (Wednesday onwards), plus the food shopping and if I'm feeling up to it later more of my marathon challenge. Moon is out with a friend at Longmoor today (using the shooting range there) so won't be home until this afternoon, and I don't know if he'll be out tonight at his gun club or not. He hasn't done any more of his list, but at my request, he did do all of the washing yesterday (although I had to put most of it away when I got home as he'd dumped it all over the bed).

Right, I'd better get on with things. I've had breakfast, just need to get meal planning and dressed before heading out to the shops.

See you all later - I will probably be doing some HHCs when I get back, so for those of you who haven't finished your lists yet, look out for them.

    sexymouse xx

ETA a big well done to Rosepink for conquering your fears and going out to the British Museum.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Morning All

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: at Toots. I know I know! I've had a really busy week, it feels like I've mostly been resolving issues this week!

I met up with a friend I'd fallen out with 2 years ago. We had a lovely catch up sitting in the sun. It was really nice to see her, and I'm glad we resolved it. I saw her for lunch too.
Plus I had to resolve an issue with an aunt who'd fallen out with me (but I didn't know  She'd misunderstood something I'd written on Facebook, and thought it was directed at her... ) So, that's sorted now.

Can't cope with all this falling out stuff. It's not how I like life to be.

It was DD3's 8th birthday on Wednesday. So that was a big day. She was off the scale with her ADHD despite her meds. We need to give serious thought to how we manage her birthdays in future.

We had a statement review for her on Friday. Which went very well, but was incredibly long because :
    a) this is the first statement with the new SENCO. (so it had to be re-written because the last SENCO was incompetent )
    b) this is the first statement under the new system
    Anyway, it's done now.

Fed everyone, and I'm going to get everyone painting the LR now. It's a mess, and we've had the paint for ages.

    See y'all later.

    Morning all

Can we have good weather vibes for this afternoon please for the St Georges Day parade for Miss A & W please, so far it's looking good. I need to 'sew' W's badges on before this afternoon.

Better go and get dressed, off to Sunday school in a bit.

Glad the meet went well yesterday :) Hope everyone has a great day today.
