Well a bit of progress made since the last post.

    • DH took rubbish from the garden and cardboard recycling to the tip
    • I washed up lunch stuff and peeled spuds, and made batter for toad in the hole
    • I got DS2 to sleep but he unfortunately wanted to do it on my knee, but i did use that as a chance to watch the apprentice
    • I got all the washing in off the line
    • DH dug some dandelions out of the lawn,
    • I made toad in the hole with mash and veg
    • DH bathed the boys
    • I remade ours and both of their beds
    • i sorted out a box of clothes i got out of the loft ages ago for DS2 - now sorted and in his wardrobe
    • I found out a couple of gift sets for a charity event at work to declutter them
    • i made DS1 try on some stuff AnW's mum gave me weeks ago to see if it fits yet. Some to iron and put in his wardrobe, and some to put away in the loft for a bit
    • I sorted a bag of too small stuff for the charity shop
    • I got DS2 to sleep, DH is just sorting DS1
    • i tidied the pots off the table and also cleaned the table where we let DS2 try to feed himself - he's getting better cos there was none on the floor
    • I put some glass and tin recycling outside

Plan tonight is to iron in front of something on the digi box. House is slowly starting to look a bit better. I know i have a bank holiday next weekend but that's when we are doing Sams birthday party, and we've invited 5 couples with kids, plus all my family, so that's why we are trying to be busy.

holly i just realised i meant to send my best wishes for you and your sister. My sisters have both been through it and it is not fun. I'm sure she appreciates your support through it.

Oooh - my best thing today, we had homegrown lettuce leaves in our sarnies at lunchtime. Our veg patch in the garden is coming on ever so well, so while the inside of the house is a tip, at least outside is looking ok. Pray for good weather for bank hol Mon for an outside party ;)

Evening all. Thanks for the well wishes.

Well I am feeling better than I was but being stupid decided to go to hobbycraft for an item I 'needed' and then felt worse afterwards.Although I have actually eaten something today. For the last 2 days I have had 1/2 a slice of bread in total. I only went as DH has the kids from 10am today until tomorrow morning so I was 'a free woman' :D:D

RoseP - Well done you :T Sounds like you had a lovely day and you managed to conquer your misgivings and fears brilliantly! :T. I envy you your guided tour of the British Museum.

I've been meaning to ask you - every June there's a big weekend convention held at a location in the park at the bottom of my garden by the JW. We always like them coming down because the sun always shines! Do you go to that, on the south coast? If you are going this year, you must let me know and we could perhaps meet up during one of the lunch breaks or something.

Thanks, I think I worry more than I need to! I'm gradually learning this! There is info about the tours here. They are really good and the tour guides are really knowledgable.

We have conventions all over the country and Witnesses go to the one held nearest to where they live. I'll be going to one in Surrey. Visitors are welcome at all our meetings and conventions, so if it's at the bottom of your garden pop down and see what's happening. There's no pressure to do anymore than just listen, so don't be afraid you will be captured and never released! This link explains what happens there. I was trying to find a link of when and where they are nationwide this summer but can't find one. I've got a list anyway if anyone wants to know. Soappie, if you feel like going for a bit but want a friend to go with I could come down and meet up with you. Would be lovely to meet you. Or I could come down even if you don't want to go!

Anyway, I don't want to hog the thread! I'm happy to answer questions so keep asking me things, sorry if I ramble on too much! I never know when to stop! Hope that answers your question, let me know if not.

Toots - the course is potentially part of Plan B. But, I've just looked at the end of course assignment (early July) and the questions are gobbledegook - I have a lot of technical learning to do before then!
yes little miss naughty you shouldnt have scared yourself by looking at the assignments ahead:rotfl::rotfl: You will be learning it all step by step and by then it will all make perfect sense - good luck - when do you start and how long is the course meant to last?
michelle - yes you def want good weather for the party - that would be much better with all the children - well done with the veg and I am envious of your lettuce today!
rosepink well done on your day out - sounds like it was a challenge and you overcame it - dont wait too long until you go out like that again - its important to keep up the momentum. even if its just soemthing locally for you and DH - go and do it and hopefully you will feel more confident each time.

    Evening everyone - I'm home :D

Thanks to everyone who came to the meet - I had a great time! Everyone was great and it was lovely to meet people and have a good natter :D Thanks for organising the walk rach.

After people headed home, I went off to Trafalgar Square to see Seth Lakeman play which was a fab ending to a brilliant day!

RoseP - thank you for the explanation. I don't feel the need to attend (but am, annually, grateful for the good weather!) . It was just a thought if you were down this way. But, any time you want to come down or you're in the area you're more than welcome to pop in.

Toots - yes, that was naughty of me to look at the end. The course starts on 1st May, though the material is now available on line. And I've checked that I can get ahead if I wish. It's about 10 weeks long - final 'exam' has to be in by 10th July. I want to get ahead now because I'm off to horrid London on the 9th May for my sister's engagement get together, then I'm on holiday for a week on the IOW from the 16th May and I'm not sure of my internet connection when I'm there.

MoaM - glad you had a good meet. Did Rach walk you hard :D or was it a gentle stroll?
