Just a quick post to say that DDs ex partners mother died this morning. Just spoke to DD and she is at her friends. I will go and see her after my walk. As she said the lady is with her son now.

Hanging on a little while as there is a big black cloud overhead.

Been to Mr As and it was heaving. Why do people have to stand in the way casually as if no one wants past.

Just popping to say I won't be about much today. Have only just woken up! Was really tired after yesterday! Am going to get ready to go the Kingdom Hall, and then we are going to a BBQ and rounders in the park. Not sure when we will get back, but I'll hopefully be able to catch up with the thread tonight or tomorrow.

    Enjoy your day everyone!

So sorry Boddy to hear your sad news, am thinking of you, DD, and the lady's family

It's a parade of Scouts, Beavers, Brownies and Guides from all over the area - I'm assuming - but I could be wrong, that they will meet outside Chesterfield Town Hall. They walk/march to the Parish Church of St. Mary and All Saints, have a service and speeches. It might be that AnWsMum's parade isn't THAT one though...not sure.
Parades like this are held in many towns.

The line is now full...two items are on ebay and three of Freecyle and my lovely OH has unpacked some crash mats he bought me and fitted them under my pole, with the aims of less bruising as I 'descend ungracefully' i.e. fall off.

The inlaws arrive from France this afternoon for up to three weeks.

My MIL is the anti-Flylady and thinks it is very amusing that I sweep the floors every day and insist on no shoes in the house...wish me luck people.

DH did cricket runs, now taken DS2 to football - I did make him a lovely gammon sandwich to take.

    Potted on my tom plants.

Going to make lunch for the two who are back and then whole afternoon in the garden as I've just seen the forcast for the coming week.
