Hey up Love - waving back, so flat out, trying to do all kinds all at once!
I promise to write properly at some point
flat plans sounds good xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Taking care of yourself too I hope!
Am going to head to bed soon although have been reading about 5 pages of Memorygirl's diary on my iphone. There are some fantastic ideas there!0 -
Not sure why - have had real sleep issues this week! Was wide away at 3.15 this am! I haven't really dwelled on it. I did some reading to try and get me back to sleep and just rest my body. I ended up getting out of bed at 5.30 and filing that I had sorted earlier this week on another early start day. I can only hope that something will be nice to me and help me spot another bit of money during the day!
I have spotted a few things that need following up and have done some sums to make sure that I pay off the CC which took the brunt of our short break. I now need to call in the money that I am owed for the trip so I can pay it in time.
Was a bit frustrated with my bro yesterday - he doesn't have a huge amount of money coming in but wants to spend £100-150 for a christening gift for a friend! I've suggested he talks to a friend at work who can give him some advice about what is an acceptable amount to give as a gift. He is a lot like me, giving gives him a happy feeling and he is quite low at the moment but I really do want him to recognise the issues that he has around spending otherwise he will end up in my situation and never be able to move out of the family home! I know that he has to learn for himself but it is hard watching someone you love making such massive mistakes!
Right bathroom is free so will jump in and get an early start and eat breakfast at home which will be nice!
Have a good day everyone.

Me too. Although i have been using the extra hours to read MG's diary - I really love to do the challenges but for me I think I'll have to do it at a slower pace. Lots going on and I need to rest. Have been very tired - both physically and emotionally.
Am already in bed which is very unusual for me. Thankfully, it won't be a super busy weekend so we can get on with our tasks and have some 'us' time.
Will update a bit more this weekend.

Hi All,
Have been sleeping but I do feel tired. I need to review my diet as I am sure that is not helping.
Yesterday was the first time in ages that I got back to a nice Saturday routine. We went to a Window showroom to have a look at some new windows, went to buy gifts for new nephew and a friend who has just had a baby and, and then a lovely lunch in one of our favourite restaurants.
We went to the supermarket and spent a bit too much but have got enough for at least two weeks!
Our evening was spent with my cousin and her family and OH and I cooked with them and made fairy cakes with our nephews. A pretty perfect Saturday.
TodayI have a few things to do around the flat and on the internet and then we will go and spend the afternoon with my dad and brother. It was dad's birthday yesterday. While I am there I will try and deal with a shelf of mum's things. A shelf every visit is the plan. To do it all in one go would be too hard for me and I think it would shock dad too much. Slowly and surely with this one I think.
The OWL monitor arrived so I will get OH to install it and work on getting our usage down.
I haven't started MG's challenges but I have been thinking about a couple of things on it. I have decided to get started a) once I finish reading the thread (on page 145 now!) and b) as part of my new job in three weeks.
I will be doing my colour therapy/style session next Saturday - I'm quite aprehensive but excited at the same time. It's time to get out of this rut.
Right better go as the list of things won't do themselves and it will help me succeed with my week ahead.
Waving to you all

Hey urg, glad you had a good weekend. Baby steps with your mum's things, it's probably good doing a bit at a time.
Colour therpay/style thing sounds great, is quite expensive but probably worth it in the end.0
