Mini update:
Assignment done and submitted - whew!
Payments organised for September and new current debt total is -£7682 :j
OH's mum is improving - she's got a long recovery ahead of her but she was smiling today when we went in to the hospital to say hello.
OH's birthday today - 30! It's been a bit bittersweet with his mum in hospital but now that she is improving he is happy. He got a brand new iPhone (which we queued for hours for!) and two meals out! Any weight I have lost will have definitely have come back on!
Have done nothing else really this weekend - which I needed. Got lots to catch up on tomorrow - including a job application that needs to be posted on Tuesday/Wednesday. I so want this job. It seems there is someone else in my place who is more senior but I am confident that I am a great candidate.
Am shattered and will be heading to bed in a bit.

Morning
Got a long list of things to do today! Washing already on!
£82.44 coming from Quidco. £60 is my brother's so the £22.44 is going toward the debt.
Going to aim for my first NSD of September too.

Better get on with the ironing.0 -
I don't know where my time seems to go - it just does! Work is manic at the moment and I am not in control of very much. MY spending is out of control as is my eating. I feel a bit like I have no control over my life so I will be taking back control this weekend!
I haven't posted my September goals so here they are:- Complete Tax Return (who isn't bored of this one!)
- Earn £250 extra to go towards my debt
- Bake a cake
- 30 mins excercise or walking per day
- Keep a spending diary
- Make and keep a meal plan for September
- Wedding job 1
- Wedding job 2
- Wedding job 3
- Get a new job!!!!!
- Lose 5lbs
- Buy a chest of drawers to stuff around to help OH to move in.
- Read and recycle 10 work magazines
- Catch up with the filing
- Have a pamper night one night a week

Hi
Thanks for words of encouragement Buffy and Taxi.
Today has been nice. Been relaxed and chilled which is just what I needed. Went to see OH's mum and she looks so much better. She still has a way to go but has made excellent progress since I last saw her.
Not looking forward to going into work tomorrow. I am bored and unchallenged. I am also feeling quite overwhelmed with all the paper that surrounds me. I am going to take a pro-active approach to getting rid of paper on my desk by tidying for 15 mins per day (a Flylady tool that I find managable).
I will need to find the challenges in other areas of my life and there are clearly many. Here is my list for this week!- Arrange meetings with 2 wedding photographers that I like
- Update my diary to help me keep more in control.
- Deal with filing pile that is in the drawer.
- Aim for 2 NSDs
- Walk for 30 mins per day (I am still struggling with the exercise)
- Prepare for interview on Friday.
- 15 mins per day on bedroom.
- Clear desk in living room
- Read and recycle 2 magazines
- See if I can find cheap tickets to upcoming wedding fair.

Just a quick pop on to say goodluck and I really am glad your new lodger is nice - just think of all the extra money you will have to throw at debt
Fingers crossed you get the interview for the job you really want - if I walk I tend to take lots of breaks by sitting down or looking at a view or something - might break up the routine a bit
Love your list updates they are great. xxxxxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Hi urg
I would just like to say well done on the debt busting. I am impressed that you write down lists and actually cross things off them as well!!!
I am great for making lists and then not actually doing any of it oops.
As for the weight I think if you are concentrating on one area of your life really hard - like debt busting, then trying to sort another area out can be hard. The main thing is to not sabotage your good intentions by buying things when food shopping that are unhealthy..
I am a chocolate addict, the only way to not be a complete bloater is I don't have it in the house (well except one time in a month lol). Otherwise if there is a bar (big bar too) in the house, then i will eat it in a day....
Oh and one other thing
GET YOUR TAX RETURN DONE!!!!!
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
