Hi Urg - Loving the looking after yourself list!
You are doing amazing on the debt busting, weight loss and lots more besides.
Just wanted to say thank you again so much for the brilliant advice you gave when I was going through the mill with PhD - My DSA got approved on Friday and thanks to you all the other bits I needed in place are just kicking in as well.
Young lady
YOU ROCK xx
Keep well though. xx
Am so pleased that things have worked out and that you are getting a fair go. It makes me really angry when universities let their students down!
With the extra support, you never know, you may still get your dream of Dr of Flowers! It'll be bl**dy hard work though!
Keep being stripey!

Peedie update...
I have just been offered a maternity cover post!!!!
It's great but I am not going to be able to accept it without a secondment. My direct line manager has told me that they won't offer it....
I am now writing to the three-line whip to request this as a secondment opportunity. Lets see what they come up with!
Still feeling rough though

You should def put yourself at the top of the list.Your health and sanity are the most important things and it's hard to function 100% when under the weather.
Take care and get better soon.0 -
So, I have a new job:j:j:j
It will only be for maternity cover but it will give me the opportunity to develop the relevant skills I need to move up in mynext career move. It has been a real palava trying to get it sorted but I have been able to get my current workplace to agree the opportunity as a secondment so I will definately have a job to come back to which is a relief.
There's a lot of carp going on at work - it's amazing how quickly you become despensible!
I managed to go on a 30 min walk with my flatmate today which was good and helps to me work towards my goal of 4 walks this week. I will shortly be heading to bed as I am really tired and all the excitement of the job has worn me out!
Hope you all are well.

Well done urg! How long is the maternity cover for? In my work whenever someone goes on secondment, they tend not to come back (in a good way), usually they like the job so much they stay!
Hope got an early nite, me, I'm still up wide awake as usual x0 -
Great news on the job URG..that's fantastic.0

- Walk for 30 mins four times this week Have managed two times!
- Aim for 2 NSDs One down yesterday and one planned today!
- Shortlist 5 wedding suppliers for next item on list Been to visit one and have made appointments to see 2
- Book wedding show tix if there is no handling charge Better do that today!
- Contact wedding venue with a couple of questions Holding off doing this as we have had a few more ideas to think through!
- Eat 5 pieces of fruit and veg per day
- Go to sleep by 11pm - no excuses Mostly achieved - I find it hard to fall asleep before midnight and the cough has made it really hard.
- Eat wholesome meals prepared at home Mostly achieved
- Treat myself to a home facial and do my nails This is my treat for today
- Keep a spending diary for the week Doing really badly at this one - I think this will be my priority for next month!
I am feeling loads better and a bit more positive. For some reason I have mixed feelings about the new job - I think it is because I have been doing the same job for such a long time and I do really enjoy it.
I have been keeping my promise to myself and looking after myself a bit more. I still have loads to do but I do feel like I am getting on with things. I am really aware that I have loads to do for the wedding so am plodding on with this.
Today is going to be about getting some housework sorted, planning my diary for the week and doing work for work. Oh and the promised facial and nails:D
Still way behind on my monthly goals! Will think about that later!

Hi
I had hoped to take tomorrow off work to have a bit of a rest and to try and help me to achieve some of the September goals. Unfortunately work is manic so I really need to go in. I may try and take a half day so that I can have a rest.
Tomorrow is payday so I have done the sums after payments made over the next few days my debt will be at:
£5935:money:
I am sooooooo pleased - it really is getting there.
I have a payment of £20 due from Quidco and am querying a £30 casino site which was not honoured!
It's Dad's 60th birthday tomorrow so am looking forward to treating him.
Am getting very jealous of everyone else's exotic hols - think I just need some time out - it's non stop at the moment.
Another positive - I have lost 8lbs in total since joining WW.
I have also been less lazy and am walking around a lot more. Little steps will all help!
Very bitty post - sorry.
Too tired. Need to get to bed.
