After looking online and reading your excellent posts it would seem that my phone cannot be unlocked for free.
It`s a Nokia 3120 classic, could you confirm this please because if I have to pay to unlock it, it will be cheaper to buy a new one.

i have and Nokia Asha 302 blocked on Orange Romania IMEI : 355210050192091

i think i tried more than only 3 codes and now i get "restriction couldn`t not be lifted" message.

can anyone help me on this one?

i got brand new nokia 301 which is locked on orange network, i want to use my old contract sim which is on talk talk network also am going on holidays in few weeks and i want to take the phone with me so i can use it over there aswell.. if anyone would give me unlock code or tell me where i could get it from for free, would really appreciate it, many thanks..

I have a Nokia 1800 bought on PAYG which is locked to Vodafone.

Is it correct that after a certain amount of time the carrier has to unlock it without charge if requested?

Unfortunately, although it's only a basic phone, this model seems expensive to unlock otherwise.
