BB5 phone I'm afraid, you will have to contact your network provider, or take it to a market stall/professional unlocker, as there are no free remote codes.

Hello everybody,
I'm a Newbee here and I'm amazed at the help given to others....... can you help me please?

I have a Nokia 6500 classic locked into Orange with an IME of 356381022462679

I want to unlock it and use my ORANGE sim card from my old Nokia 6230 and put it in the Nokia 6500.

What puzzles me is I'm going from an Orange sim card and trying the sim in an Orange locked phone, but it will not "fire up".
It may be because of the rather strange set-up on my old phone - it says on start-up "O2 welcome" (it was my son's phone but my old sim worked, so I did not mind the odd O2 message) the home screen says ORANGE and then after a while reverts to a joint Orange and T-Mobile banner.
I know a while back Orange said they were joining forces with T-Mobile to improve coverage, but I did not think it would scupper what I thought was a simple Orange - Orange sim card change (PAYG).

Request help please:).

Sorry as post 2103. If your other phone doesn't fire up, it maybe barred, so maybe worth taking it to the market stall.

What a fantastic thread. Please help if you can.

I have a nokia 6230i IMEI 353268014726190 locked to Orange

and a Nokia 6300 IMEI 356437011358326 also locked to Orange.

I understand the second one I may have to do at a specialist unlocker shop. But any help much appreciated.

Insert a WRONG sim card, one that doesn’t work in the phone. When it says phone restricted, press
‘undo’. It will ask you for a restriction code and input the code into the box on the screen.

Hello, does anyone know if I can unlock this handset from T-Mobile?

My IMEI is 358009033233890.

I tried the unlock site recommended here but instead of showing an unlock code, it jumps to a Facebook page.

Sorry, it's a Dct4+ phone and can only be unlocked if paid for, as there are no free remote codes. Contact your network provider, or market stall/pro unlocker.
