    BB5 I’m afraid, there are no free remote codes, but your network provider/market stall, or a pro unlocker can help here. There are also remote codes that you can obtain from the web on certain networks, but very expensive.

    I inherited an old Nokia 1100 which I think may have been unlocked already. How can I tell?

    Also, how would I recognise a global SIM?

    imei: 353217038308501

    and for the nokia 2630
    imei: 353192037117643

    both locked to vodafone

    If it's locked, putting in a SIM from another network won't work. If it's unlocked, you're either using a SIM from the 'right' network, or it's unlocked.

    The 7100 Slide & the 2630 are DCT4+ phones, which there are no free remote codes. You will either have to contact your network provider/market stall, or a pro unlocker.

    Got a 6300 locked to Orange - any idea how much it'll cost to get it unlocked please? It's one of the ones you can't do with a code ;_;

    There are no free remote codes for the BB5 phones. It can be done by code on the web, but it's expensive.
