Try some different networks in the phone, if you can to find out.

BB5 phone I’m afraid, there are no free remote codes, you will have to contact your network provider, or a professional unlocker/market stall. There are remote codes, which you can purchase from the web, on certain networks, but they all cost.

I've just tried unlocking by the http://unlock.nokiafree.org/ website, and when I typed in the code it just said 'not allowed'.

Is it possible to unlock a Nokia 5230 for free?
