Ah hon, you sound like me. I sit and think why on earth did I get myself in this situaiton!!! And although it wasn't all my debt - dodgy ex, family etc it was still my stupid decision to take it all in my name. Grrr! Still we are well on our way lovely and we can't look back, only forward.

It is fab that you get regular monthly visits - that alone is a good start esp with pcso. 4 kids is mega to me...i'm keeping it small with 1 or 2....that way I know I can afford it and still have a life once they are older. I want to be able to give my kids what I never had as a child oh and most DEF teach them the art of saving!!! ha ha!!!

I know arent they a worst of moods i know i cant turn back time so why do i let these moods creep up . I deffo think we will be very good financial people by the time we have our family. I am with you on the now that things are financially improving i dont want to go down the avenue of feeling like its pay day to pay day . onwards and downwards we go xx

Another payment has been made yippeeee and its still only november new totals are £10044.26/48262.44, this means my current outstanding negative wealth is £38218.18. So since my lbm in 2008 i have paid a whopping £39022.51 :O onwards and downwards whoo whoo. I cant wait for ohs bonus money yipeeee x

Well its the first day of december less that 31 days of 2012 i wonder what differences i can make to my budget and negative wealth. I dont want to lapse just because oh is getting a bonus i really want to power on through and make a real difference while we can. I am going to make paying the negative wealth a top priority and then look at saving to clear the secured loan!! but id also like to create some savings for a 3 month basic salary need and then savings for babies, saving for a house move etc. I mean when we pay all negative wealth off we will have a substantial amount of disposable income,i want to use it to the best of our advantage ie savings and overpaying current mortgage. Lets hope what i say on paper pans out well in real life lol xx

I have bitten the bullet and paid £260 off the unsecured negative wealth, i didnt like the temptation of it sitting there looking at me in the bank lol! so new numbers are £10304.26/£48262.44 which means current outstanding is £37958.18 and that means ive paid off a whopping £39282.51 yippeee onwards and downwards xxx

Ive overpaid again to round it to £500 so signiture updated yippeee it saves me wanting to spend it especially with it been xmas xx

Well done on the overpayment, that's fab! I think it def makes sense to make the payment so the money is gone - temptation at this time of year to buy more than planned is always an issue. I love buying gifts for people and could keep going and going but being sensible the debt needs to go.

Happy, I have a feeling that 2013 is going to be both our years for various reasons not only the debt but lots of lovely family stuff too :0) FC for us on both fronts! Today sees me embarking on health and fitness (will update my diary later) I brought a dvd online for exercise and will go running so I don't join the gym and I intend on upping my fruit and veg etc. I read a baby website whereby they are trying all sorts of weird and wonderful things to conceive....for now I think I will take a relaxed approach and see what happens....exciting though!!!!!!

That's very good choc. Yes the right diet and a relaxed approach is sensible. Well I am very very pleased, I have just phoned the secured loan company and they have altered terms and conditions. We can overpay upto £3000 per month with no charge we just have to send a cheque and say its a capital repayment. Yay that means I won't have the temptation of savings to look at whoop whoo xx
