The builders are breaking through the extension tomorrow so everything will have to be redecorated:(.....the hall, the 3 bedrooms (2 new ones and the other one that they are breaking into) and the shower room!!!! Im usless at painting, so I could be putting out an sos!!!
Ooooh, a holiday to Ireland.... I'm packing my brushes now...;)
Seriously, I'm glad you're getting something done though - it does make you feel better, look what it's doing to Toots! much like having a clean house when doing flylady - it's an accomplishment, one off the list, and sometimes you need that, so good luck with it all hun x
Also, like everyone else said - go speak to someone to see what you are entitled to - can the social help you? might sound silly, but of all people they should know? apart from that, like everyone else has said, try CAB and maybe even the debt people Martin recommends? They may know more...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

I need help, advice and maybe a little sanity thrown in for good measure;)
The back bedroom has been cleared out, the wardrobe has been moved, (the doors are now facing tight against the wall so that the dust from breaking through doesnt get into it making me rewash and reiron the kids clothes!!!!! I also removed the skitrting board and washed the walls.....I dont know why as they are coming down tomorrow!!! See I told you all I was a bit mad!!!!
I am doing well off the cigs.....not really craving any thank god!!
Oh I dont know who mentioned it but prescriptions are free for children under 16...DDs medication and wraps are on prescription only so thay are all free!
I also done a pile of ironing today:( such a thankless task!!
All kids are back to school tomorrow:D So hopefully I can clean up as the builders and plasterers are working:)
Tasks for tomorrow are
Ring Bank....check out internet banking!
Meal plan for next week (we have lived out of the freezer and cupboards this weekend)
CB is paid tom so I need to put fuel into the car....Kids kept on asking could they go and see their daddy yesterday and today and I had to say NO!!! I didnt have any deisel in the car and its well into the red!! and buses cost money (not that there is a direct bus to DHs Hospital there are 2 changeovers!! and for 5 of us to go up it would be cheaper to use the car!! But nevertheless.....I still felt rotten not being able to take them up now we wont be able to see him until Wednesday as he goes to a daycentre on tuesday and has physio and aromatherapy tomorrow that leaves him "Gunked"!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -

Spending diary needs to be bought also!!.

Morning all:)
All kids are away to school:)
moneysaving things that i have done today are....
line dried clothes
Took mince out of freezer so that we can have spa bol tonight for dinner:)
Checked the bank......well there is £50.00 available....I took out £10 for diesel and put it straight in:).....went into the garage to pay for it and the girl on the till automatically turned around and lifted the brand of cigs i used to smoke....I said no and she said sorry.....I told her that I was off them and she was delighted, as she had went off them on friday.....so I have a non smoking buddy in the local garage!!! so more money saved:D
I have rang the bank and they are going to send out application forms for internet banking!!
I also went down to speak to the principle of the wee ones primary school to see if they had anything that could help with school uniforms.....but I chickened out!! I have a month to find the money....I will do it!!
DS1 gave me and old diary that he had for keeping his homeworks in, so I dont have to buy one!! He also took an apple to school with him for his break....rem hes a teenager now and before he was too cool to take anything into school except money "cause it would make me look poor" he said then came out with "If your poor in our school you get picked on" I was sorta glad that the kids saw us being broke as DS1 would never ever have taken an apple before!!!
Spend for today = £10.00
I may need milk later on though!!
I am making a loaf in the bread maker:)
I am also making buns for the kids dessert.....there are tins of custard in the cupboard!
I will also make up some jellys!
Tomorrow I have to give the Wee ones £1 each for their breaks for the week.....it isnt too bad i would probably have spent more than that........school have a scheme in place that the kids bring in £1 per week for their breaks that consist of fresh fruit and veg and H/M dips...The kids get to try a varity of fruit and veg that they maybe dont get at home, its healthy and it doesnt cost the earth!!
Gonna get on with the ironing now:(
The wall is knocked down and i can walk in and out of the extension!!! Yippie!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -

DS3 is home from school sick..... I think he just wanted to see what the builders are doing!!! As he has just miraclously recovered!!!!

The builders are going really well.........the stud wall is up and they have knocked through:) the plumber is here and has the shower and the toilet and sink:) he has all the pipes fitted and is making lots of headway!!!:j
Going to collect DD from school @ 2pm and grab a mini statement outta the hole in the wall.......as the one I went this am had no paper!!!!
just grabbing some toasted soda bread smothered in butter and jam for my lunch.....gonna give DS3 some dry toast  we will see how sick he is!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -

What about emailing or a letter instead? Oooo and you could have a painting party for the extensionOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
There is nothing wrong with asking them about the uniforms, they won't mind. It will save you a bit of money and that can go toward other things.
You are doing really well, you've done a lot of MSE things today!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Good Morning all xx
Okay no builders as yet today!!
Its been a wet morning here in NI! But the clouds dont look as heavy anymore and a blue sky seems to be pushing its way through the grey fluff:)
All kids are in school:D
Im looking after my godson for a few hours today so that should be fun/noisey;)
I am going to price some flooring today as the extension floor needs to be covered when the builders/plumbers/electricions and joiners leave so that the kids can have their own rooms asap:D
Still off the cigs!! Im craving a wee bit but I can handle it......saved almost £24.00, AND I reckon that they are going to go up tomorrow in the budget!!
Oh Groan DS1 had forgotten his PE gear!! Its just caught my eye!! Im not taking it in for him though he was reminded at least 4 times this morning and I left it right beside the front door so that he wouldnt forget it.........He was more interested in going into the wee ones rooms this morn and torturing them!!!! Then giving me a hard time as I wouldnt let him have my ipod....Grrrrrrr.
Going to ring the bank this am also as there was a DD that came out of my bank for £5.99 and I dont know who its for!!!!!
Also im going to try and get a spreadsheet filled in........see exactly where my money is going!!:jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
