We can't have the cat food on the floor as the dog eats it all and I have no where else to put it. The cats are allowed on one side of the oven and food is prepared on the other side. I had to put the kettle on the cat side as I ran out of space! They know not to cross over the oven to the other side and I bleach the surfaces every night after work before I cook tea, it hasn't caused us a problem in the past and hopefully it won't in the future lol

My cats used to sit and watch me preparing food on the work surface.
I'm still here and so are the rest of us.
We're all heathly and always have been.
    I would'nt worry about it.

I always loved this thread and am glad to see it bumped up again. There`s some gorgeous kitchens on here, i have not seen one i dislike.Heres my humble kitchen.we rent from a housing association and i am quite pleased with it as the kitchen before was awful. If i had my own property and the money to do it i would love a shabby chic cottagey type kitchen.

  • Ohh - there's nothing nicer than seeing other people's kitchens!

We moved into a new house a couple of years ago now and I "had" to have a new kitchen put in, so I've got a before and a couple of after shots on my Flickr page (well, there's before and afters of the whole house, if anyone's interested!)

All these gorgeous kitchens...they make mine look ready for the scrap heap. I blame the landlord. :(

I might post mine later, we'll see.

WOW theres some stunning kitchens out there :D It's really interesting to see how everyone uses different spaces... big or small!! It's great to see how people with very small kitchens manage to get the best out of them  Makes me realise my kitchen isn't as small as I think it was just badly set out.

I'm gonna add a pic of mine as soon as I can get into my pb account
