It's lovely to see your kitchen and where you work. I don't want to sound mean, but have you considered the health implications of allowing your cat to go on the work surfaces where food and other kitchen items are stored and placed? Even just jumping up and landing on the surface will distribute loose fur etc.

We can't have the cat food on the floor as the dog eats it all and I have no where else to put it. The cats are allowed on one side of the oven and food is prepared on the other side. I had to put the kettle on the cat side as I ran out of space! They know not to cross over the oven to the other side and I bleach the surfaces every night after work before I cook tea, it hasn't caused us a problem in the past and hopefully it won't in the future lol

wow some amazing kitchens, mine is well hmm not so sure its worth of being called a kitchen, i now have kitchen jelousy

i have a sink with 2 under cupboards one side, with a small cupboard next to that and enough work top space for a glass chopping board, on the opposit side i have a cooker with a small cupboard one side of it and 3 draws the other side and 2 top cupboards either side again enough space for my glass chopping boards on either side, 3rd wall is just a wall with a 1 door cupboard on it and my bookcase (which holds all my plates glasses etc) and the opposite wall has the door to the bathroom

its tiny lol, since ive moved my slow cooker, george and steamer have yet to leave there box's

I love the lightness and simplicity of your kitchen... also that fact that you seem to be able to keep it clean and tidy! LOL!

buxton, my dining table is sooooooo similar to yours!! same looking legs and top.

i promise once my kitchen is actually tidied up (this weekend i swear) then i will post a pic or two up for you all to see

Actually the kitchen is a lot lot tidier today as I have had the week off. And the weather has been so bad. I bought the dining room suite (has a rather nice sideboard) second hand 35 years ago and it's still going strong. I would like somthing more modern but if it aint broke don't fix it is my motto.
