I can't wait to see the rest of the transformation.
The oven is very handy I have to admit. Here's some of the rest of the kitchen. The bad news is that the ceiling has to come down and be replaced at some point.0 -

Can i ask where you got the detergent tin from please?0 -
Fairly easy to look after really. I give it a clean with soapy water then buff up with baby oil.
There is one scorch mark I can't seem to get off though where I left a hot pan touching it!
I just leave the pan in front of it to disguise it:rolleyes:Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
Here's mine. It's 'cosy'. LOL (ie there isn't room for 2 of us to be in there at the same time.) But we make it work just fine. Except when there's a days worth of dishes lying on the worktops...
The fridgefreezer is in the dining room and the tumble dryer is in the cellarhead with the breadmaker ontop of it. The slowcooker has to be put away after use for obvious reasons.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Have you tried 'Barkeepers Friend'? I had yellowish heat discolouration on my brushed steel toaster and was considering getting a new one as it annoyed me so much. Barkeepers Friend took it right off:beer:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Got my soap curing on the top of the wall unit, and my beloved Panny, this truly is the heart of our home.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
Hmmm - it looks like oilcloth to me. I treated myself to some Cath Kidston strawberry blue oilcloth for my kitchen table (oh don't I sound grand :rotfl: it's the only table in the house  ) it cost me £40, but in my defence I did buy too much and have a tablecloth and I made a pegbag - I've still got some left - but no ideas what to make with it - maybe a carrier bag holderSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
