We have just painted the units in our kitchen and we are part way through doing the walls. Soon I will have a bright and girly kitchen to spend my hours in!

Hello everyone! Are there any more kitchens to see, this was my favourite thread, great for ideas to make my kitchen look better, so many different styles, I might even put my own on!

Im just bumping this up!

I love this thread too - I was so desperate for a new kitchen, and I honestly thought everyone would have brand new kitchens, :eek: it was so refreshing to see that they did not and on reflection some of the older kitchens were the nicest! Very warming and homely so now I dont think that a new kitchen is my priority - so this thread helped enormously!

If you look through the album, there's the Ikea gloss red, in the flat - awkward layouit to work with, as well as the BIG Ikea gloss white, which was in The Upsidedownhouse.

The kitchen is pretty much exactly how it was when we moved in - we happened to have baby blue kitchen pieces in our last home so when we found this and saw the curtains, beams and island we were amazed as our stuff matched!

Here's some pics of mine before and after it's not very big but it's home!

My DH insisted on getting a wooden worktop and I'm still not 100% happy with it.
We still have to get a splashback/tiles for the sink and I want a different micro.
