Well thanks a bunch you lot! After a couple of days viewing pics of bygone style kitchens, welsh dressers crammed with eclectic objet, vintage kitchenalia, distressed cookware and trusty arga's I decided to 'dress' my clinical, clean lined, no-nonsense kitchen up a bit make it look a bit more homely and OS. With a vague memory of Farmhouse Kitchen as broadcast in the 1970's in my minds eye I set about gathering all kinds of odds 'n' sods from all four corners of the MATH empire which I have now displayed in assorted piles around my kitchen. It now resembles a WI bric-a-brac stall complete with silver jubilee mug and talking cookie jar, thank goodness I couldn't lay hand on that fish plaque thingy that sings rock around the cod. It will take me twice as long to clean on Friday as usual and I have no space to prepare meals. So thanks a pigging bunch you lot. I told ya I couldn't do country chic but ya would start flaunting ya enamel bread bins and jaunty gingham. Well I hope you're pleased with yourselves is all I can say - I'm going for a soak in the bath to escape the mess, It's doing my head in. LOLLife's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

i just fantasise about a huge kitchen with an island.......any psycics out there wanna gimmie the lottery numbers??????arkonite_babe wrote:LTS, I have to confess I cheated on the pictures
This IS my kitchen, just before I lived here
As my dear brother "borrowed" my digital camera ages ago, I used the pic from the estate agent's brochure to show you what my kitchen is like. Now, add a bit more clutter to the worktops and kids stuff dumped on the island and you've got it
Oh and don't forget all my utensils hanging from the rack in the kitchen, I managed to keep that bit from the previous owner0 -
