Got distracted surfing MSE as per:o

I had panelled doors and a carved cooker hood thingy in my last kitchen but I found then really difficult to keep clean. Looked very nice but I got fed up having to attack them with a toothbrush to get the grot out.

The Kitchen I have in this house I bought and put in to only last three years as we planned to knock through to the gargage and laundry room eventually but we've changed out minds now so I'm still living with a cheap kitchen which is now 8 years old and falling to bits.

I saw my absolute dream kitchen the other day it was a restored 1950's mayflower kitchen in cherry red. I remember one of my great aunts having the same units in Lemon when I was a kid and I always thought that it was what space ships looked like on the inside. LOL

TM I can't agree with you there! That is my kitchen nightmare. All those twiddly bits Yuk. Funny how we all have different tastes innit? No, I'd prefer something a little more minimalist. And it is pre-cluttered. I can do the cluttering up bit myself :rotfl:

I've taken photo's of mine and uploaded them to photo bucket but they've come out very dark, I will try again in the morning.

    Hi Guys,

I am loving this thread. Great idea funky fairy. I must be nosey too but it is great to see your kitchens.

I am a bit unsettled by how tidy they all look though, so I decided not to tidy mine up before I took these pics! Gulp! :rotfl:

I have so much stuff and my kitchen is a bit limited on cupboard space so I spill over into the dining room too.

TM's link has gone down. Must be experiencing heavy traffic. The kitchen showroom will wonder what is going on tonight with all the website hits it is going to get. :D
