It doesn't get used every week but still quite often. It's wonderful for doing fish in and frozen veg tastes fresher from it.

Thanks BW, it has no choice but to look 'well loved', it's old, small and used often, a bit like me really :D

Okay can someone now explain (in idiot proof terms) how to get them from photobucket to here?

And come someone explain to me how you post the pics so they appear within a post (like PP did with her kitchen photo)?

This is mine, small but perfectly formed, just like me.
Behind the doors at the one end is my very old style pantry. We did consider knocking it out like most of the neighbours have done, but there still wouldnt be room to squeeze in even a miniscule table and chairs. All my old style gadgets are stowed away in here, like the slow cooker, bread maker, two freezers, ironing board and 5 old style irons. (My mom has an iron buying fetish - dont ask. I've never had to buy an iron in my life, and probably will never have to.)

all your kitchens are really nice!

mine is uni-standard, so I cant even attempt to make it 'ours'....all we've been able to do is put superman and darth vader posters up (can you tell I live with guys?? lol....photos are on their way tho....just as soon as I can transfer them from phone to computer.

so many things to pick out, can't remmeber them all tho

Aussielass - you don't have any cupboards up over the worktops...is that just your, or is it an Aussie thing? it took me aaaaaaages to realise why it looked so different to most of the others on here.

Sweetpea - are the units on one side of your kitchen narrower? the surface just looks narrow, was wondering whether that was camera angle or actual? if its intended, then I would imagine its a good way to gain extra cupbaord space without losing 'space' in the kitchen

Lillibet - Spud is so cute! (and your kitchens not bad either, lol)

Ok Ruby when you look at your photo in your photobucket account, there are some boxes underneat. One says URL copy the contents of that box.

Next stsrt a post as normal If you are using the WYSIWYG thing you should see 2 lines of icons along the top of the reply box. One is a little yellow square with a mountain thingy, click on that.

A box opens with http:// or something, get rid of that. Then paste your Photobucket URL thing in and your piccy should appear. I think :o
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

  • Hi Holstar,
yes the cupboards down the one side are narrow, there used to be a breakfast bar there when we moved in. Those are the cupboards that hold all the tins! It is only a narrow kitchen, there wouldn't be much room if I have full sized cupboards all the way round.
Im suprised how many Old Stylers have small kitchens, isn't it amazing we can do all this fantastic cooking without loads of space. :T Some people kitchens are exactly as I imagined they would be - Sarahsavers, and Penny-Pinchers for example.
MATHS is smaller than I imagined though (!) Still, its not the size its what you do with it that counts. :p
