I have a separate utility room and you're not seeing that! LOL Maybe i will brave it some time...
My renovation of the house sort of hasnt got that far, theres the fridge, washer, drier and chest freezer out there, orange paint on the walls and black tiles in part of it taking themselves off slowly, plus a little sink which is an oldie so i dont want to part with it. My kitchens big but no room for a fridge in it! So the fridge is in part 1 of the utility room, the other stuff including sack of spuds, vegetable rack and laundry gloop supply are in the 2nd half behind the 1950's ridged glass door with the brown bakelite handle:)
It's freezing out there! Going to paint it mediterranean sky blue when its warm enough to go out there for any length of time. I always thought utility rooms were posh but now I know otherwise!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

GP - another one with the same units I've chosen for mine... looks fantastic and what a great idea for the splashbacks, although I should imagine they're a b*gger to keep clean? Is that a cat/dog flap in the far end wall of your dining room? Been trying to figure out what it is LOL![/QUOTE]
Hiya CQ, It only takes 5 minutes to clean the slaphbacks, I have some stainless steel wipes that I got from the pound shop. however don't do them that often, I have had the kitchen 12 months and have only done them about 5 times.
And yes it's a dog flap in the dining room for Portia our collie and also for when DS forgets his key!!!0 -
I have spent all morning reading all the posts and checking out all your kitchens ~ they are fabulous! So many different types, shapes, colours and sizes! I will have to go home, tidy the kitchen and then photograph it to post here too.
I would love to have a kitchen diner, but then I have quite a large kitchen just not big enough for a table. The kitchen was completely fitted out when we moved in and was a large factor in selling us the house, not least because it came equipped with build in microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and large range cookerI love it, but the next house, I definitely want a large kitchen diner complete with a walk in larder
