Oh yes! To anyone thinking of buying a glass table - don't. I have a tablecloth over it most of the time as it shows every tiny crumb & smear otherwise.0 -

Thank you all for your kind comments. It was not an expensive kitchen at all, cupboards and work top from B & Q, but what I think makes a big difference is the stainless steel back splash.. we went for this option as tiles are a fortune. so i looked in the yellow pages and contacted some local sheet metal murf's and got prices for sheets of stainless steel. we did around all the kitchen for just over 100.00! where as b & Q wanted about 80.00 for one small piece to go behind the hob! Then off to ikea for the rails and hooks (about 20.00) and anything I owned what is silver was hung on it.0 -

OOOh can someone give me a link to the pictures of ourselves thread please? I've tried searching for it and I can't find it.....People Say that life's the thing - but I prefer reading

Hi
I've just found this thread and enjoyed looking at everyone else's kitchens so am going to attempt to show my daughter making cakes in ours (please excuse the mess)! I bemoan my kitchen because the walls need plastering and it seems to get really cluttered but it is a good size and I like my belfast sink and range style cooker.
Let's see if it's works then:
