Thorsoak, its a very human condition, that when you cannot understand, accept or tolerate a situation, that you look to rationalise it by suggesting it must be "fictional" or a "troll post"

Unfortunately, for me, its very real.

Bozo, I am qualified in a very specialist field, there are hardly any jobs about, let alone in my field of expertise.

I dont want to do min wage work, thats not for me, and I am probably more literate than those who profess to train people to write a CV.

All I want to do is be left in peace to seek work and claim the dole.

    .

Tough really , 'cause there are many of us out here doing work for near enough the minimum way in order to support our families in order that we dont have to take anything off the government unless we have to. I dont and nor do most people here want to work for minimum wage, Actually i would love to be the queen and have her money but hey s**t happens and I can't. what makes you think YOU are better than anyone else just because you might be able to write a cv better than some. Its not got you a job yet has it!!!!:A

I suggest we get up a subscription to send him back to the Land where the Bong Tree grows!

Its real for everyone without a job or on the minimum wage, but most people dont go sounding like a petulant person, they just get on and look for ANY job!!!

Yes, that is defiantly an opinion that some may share with you.

However, I decided to take the benefits route, that was my choice as it is yours.

Just because you choose the min wage route, does not mean you have the right to finger wag at me, we all have choices!

but then i suppose i found a job in order support my family, i took on a job because I had to, and because I have PRIDE There is nothing wrong in claiming help if there are no other options, for some people this is the only route. But I think that you are choosing benefits over a job because its 'easier' , thats sooooo sad. I dont think that is much of an example for your children. Life is about work, yes a bit of play, but it isnt down to everyone else to support you while you can do it for yourself. There are many people that NEED help and have no choice but to ask for it. This just makes a mockery of everything

"Don't hate the player hate the game"

In other words I didn't invent the system , I just operate within the bounds that have been drawn.

Some people indulge themselves in an obscure notion that work=pride , I have never been able to make a connection between cleaning somebodies floor, or digging a hole in the road-with personal pride.

If there was pride in hard labour the queen would do her own hoovering.

quite true, but if we all sat on our backsides, then there would be no benefits for anyone, especially those that really need it!!
