Arbitrary and unreliable? If you admit you didn't log in when making those bookings, why would you expect the bookings to be there?! How's the site to know who you are you?

They generally are there though, but I know that from email not My TL. I have stayed in these rooms!!

    Do you work for TL?

the first time you book a room with Travelodge it automatically creates a 'My Travelodge' account for you. It is in the T&C that you agree to this

Mmm, ok if you want to believe that, repeating yourself though doesn't make it the universal shared experience.

    Go to http://www.travelodge.co.uk/index.php

and book ANY room then try to pay for it.

It will tell you to either log-in to your account OR register.

    End of story!

Don't forget the newish one at Euston. The King's Cross Royal Scott virtually adjoins the Farringdon TL, but these are about a mile walk away

yes, because you havent logged in they cant associate a new booking with your account, but this is easy to do afterwards, as explained above

I am struggling to do this!

I am a bit of a Travelodge Saver regular but in the latest sale I booked 2 rooms on the /mobile site. I would like to put them into My Travelodge but can't do it. I have found the help section on the website that tells you how to do it but it doesn't work.

"How can I associate a booking I made whilst not logged in to appear in My Travelodge?

If you have made a booking whilst not logged in that does not appear on My Travelodge is it possible to associate that booking with your profile.

First log in to My Travelodge, OK no probs

then access the booking details using the modify your booking option from the navigation bar at the top of each website page. Err there isn't a modify your booking option!

You will need to identify the booking using the confirmation number (which is on the confirmation email you received when making the booking) and either your surname, credit card number or the name of the hotel you have booked. OK I can do this by clicking on Manage Your Bookings (from Site Map link) but this doesn't link the booking to My Travelodge

Once you have accessed the booking, it will automatically be associated with your My Travelodge account." It Doesn't for me!

And it does not for me.

I have booked a lot of TL rooms on the various £9 sales and nearly all through the mobile site but some through the normal site.

I cant get it to work either now, but ive done it many times in the past - you used to have to input the confirmation number to gain access to any booking and then it linked up once you had viewed it, but now there isnt even anywhere to search using the confirmation number - sorry cant be more help

It hasn't worked for a very long time, if it ever did. I booked rooms via the mobile site last year and was concerned when I couldn't see them in "My Travelodge" so called CS to ensure I did have them booked. They told me mobile bookings wouldn't show up as you're not logged in when making the booking and there was no way to add them afterwards.
