What is it that you do not understand?
I am surprised you cannot operate something as simple as that website!
Duh!
Thank you for your kind and friendly comments. If you follow the following link below you wll see that West Brom does not appear.
http://www.moneysupermarket.com/savings/
With people like you on forums, I'm leaving here.
Thanks.0 -
Don't go , there is no excuse for rudeness but some sad people get a buzz from it. Most people on here are friendly and helpfull and there is a lot of very useful information to be had.
For what its worth I have found that moneysupermarket.com are always slow to update with new offerings; moneyfacts.co.uk are normally more upto date, and the people who post on here are normally the most upto date of all.
So hang around!!0 -
I just went to moneysupermarket.com and when you initially go in it shows Easy Access accounts, click on Fixed Rate Bond, the west Brom isnt listed - to see it you have to use the filter above. I can see why someone might get confused.
Anyway - just a note to anyone looking at the west brom account , moneysupermarket lists the west brom account E 21 as "internet" manageable - it isnt - its telephone and phone (I checked the west brom bs site just now) and I had applied for the account yesterday so should know!0 -
Do you think they'd accept £50,001 to open this account?:hello:0
-
£50,001 ?
you mean £5000.1 azureblue ?
Lowest amount to open is 5k0 -
oooh sorry. I thought I read that the minimum was £50, 000 on their website . . . am I an idiot?:hello:0

no, because it does talk about a £50,000 minimum: It's the minimum to get the interest paid monthly instead of anually...
...And even if you did just read £5000 as £50,000 you can pretend that's why0 -
I may be wrong but it seems to me that the rates for fixed rate bonds are beginning to creep up. Competiton for savers?
Probably, I heard on R4 discussion today that the recent downgrading of some BS by Moody's has frightened off commercial lenders or commercial comapnies buying mortgage packages, and thus as private savers have a 50K g'tee by HMG we are the only ones left, and need some carrotsEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
Has this been withdrawn already? I can only see the 2yr deal.
If anyone still has the PDF application form please PM me, since they may still accept it. (Damn it I had it up on the screen today)0
