morning all!
2 days off now:j but gotta work all weekend Sat, Sun and Mon:rolleyes:
dull and damp here - typical when I've got a pile of washing. Might have to hang it out and hope for the best.
Going cleaning to Mums then later popping into Kidderminster to stock the freezer up as its virtually empty.
(((hugs))) to those in need especially PP - hope you're feeling a bit better x
sunnygirl - hope your dad is feeling better x
Halight - hope you're ok x
off for a surf now , take care xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning everyone. Just a quickie today as I'm going to York to help Mum & Dad get the van sorted for bringing home. Dad was finally out of the hospital last night :T and we're organising a tow truck to bring them home. They put the car on the truck, you sit in the cab & they tow the caravan behind it - enough to give my Dad more health problems as he's very fussy about his van :rotfl:
Essex-Girl I've found it now - I put a jar of pasatta in a bowl and add a tablespoon of brown sugar, a finely chopped onion, garlic to taste, a good dash of Worcester sauce, barbeque seasoning, a good dash of vinegar, salt & pepper and sometimes a glug of tomato or brown sauce or both, depending if the sauce is for adults or children too. I just mix it all up & keep tasting until its right. I used to use a tin of toms when there wasn't so many of us but its not enough nowI sometimes cook the chicken in pieces and pour the sauce over it & serve with rice & sometimes marinade the chicken in it & grill/barbeque afterwards. It's very tasty if you marinade chicken in the sauce, make them into kebabs then brush the kebabs with the remaining sauce whilst they're cooking. Hope this helps & sorry if it sounds haphazard I don't measure much really!
Have good days all & ((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))) for those who need one.

Morning all
Great news SunnyGirl hope today goes well.
PP hope you are feeling a bit better today.
Diva - hope you have a happier day today.
Day off today and waiting in for gasman. I hate having to stop in for people - I am so contrary that I immediately can think of a dozen places I need to go to - whereas if I wasn't forced to wait in and had the choice I would probably potter round the house without even thinking about it!
Ham hock in slow cooker so I wll let you know later Sunnyday how it goes. So will get in garden whilst I am waiting in and plant out some more plants. Wm on but still a bit grey here but no rain so might get it line dried.
Have a good day everyone.
xxx"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Good morning all from the crazed moving in a week household! We're meeting the owner today to sign the lease and get the keys. I'm pleased we'll get an extra day to get painting etc done in the new place.
Packing is continuing, lists are made and actually getting done. Well most tasks on them.
Steerpike - If you get aphids again, try diluted washing up liquid. No need to rinse. I use a spray bottle for the plants. It works a treat and your plants will be ok too.
(((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))) to all who want/need them. I'm sorry I've not kept up lately and don't know what's going on with everyone. It will be good to get back into a regular routine once we're moved and settled in.
Warm thoughts & prayers for all.
Peyton xxTake the first step.

Just take the first step.

Already am feeling a little better & more motivated as been enjoying cuppa's & surfing on here. You lot are inspirational so have decided I am about to have a nice relaxing bath then I will give the kitchen work tops a good clean then do some baking, carrot cake and muffins I think. OH has offered to help me with housework tomorrow so think will go for it then, I always feel my clearer in my mind when I have a clean and tidy house and its so difficult when the kids are at home. Love em but they do clutter the place upAnyway think I might even dip into the fly lady thread next week .
