the pallets both have mascaras missing which i did not notice at the time of purchase and the make up is very messy with bits missing!

Remember all Time Delay has a money-back guarantee, if you're not entirely happy. This guarantee makes no mention of "on the condition that some crabby SA decides that this product isn't a cosmetic"!

Take the used one back - to mardi cow if you're after revenge! - and show her the money-back guarantee. Say you've had a reaction and are therefore not entirely happy with the product and you'd like a refund. (If you've no longer got a receipt, you should still get an exchange.)

As for your unused Balm - try for an exchange in another store. If you get no joy and no SA takes the product back unused, then "spoil" the product and again take it back as a used item you're not entirely happy with.

fine mil gives over her card and she gets all the points, the man then takes my debit card (for the third time now!!) and swipes it yet again in order to give me a refund for the goods. he reassures me the first crashed till transaction wont go through, and if it does to just come back and they will sort it out. which is weird cause how can they considering i didnt get a reciept from the first till cause it crashed?!

Sorry to hear you had such a miserable shop.

Quick question - Is your card a Chip & Pin card? Just before the first till crashed, had you entered your PIN to authorise the first transaction? Cos if you had and the authorisation had been accepted, then surely that sale would have been completed?

If this is the case, I'd make sure you let your bank know straightaway.

she was a monster with attitude!.. first she said I couldn't exchange it as she thought I'd used a voucher to get it for free.. I pointed out that yes, I had used voucher but had actually put an extra £3.50 towards it.. And I was more than willing to lose the value of the voucher and put the extra to the exchanged item, again explaining why I wanted to swap.... Just got the same response, so I said again, that I did use the voucher... etc etc... this continued for a while....

Think she eventually clicked on the voucher, but then said well you can't exchange it anyway as its a cosmetic, I queried this but she wasn't for moving - apparently if it goes on your face, its a cosmetic!.. after a lot of eye rolling and huffing and puffing she said she'd get someone else to come over, but it would be a waste of time as they'd say the same as her!

If I was on form I might have mentioned her customer service skills were a little lacking, but was feeling under the weather.. So I decided to cut my losses and run as I was proper shown up! :mad:

Finished off a bad day in Boots nicely!! :rolleyes:

that said i got two yesterday with my voucher the sa went to fetch it for me ( but that was befor i habded over my voucher ... ) always hand over vouchers after products have gone through the tills

They are on offer right now 3 for 2 but if you combine this offer with the trial size vouchers for the pull ups they are even cheaper and the 75 points from the ac machine over £10 too
