I seem to remember someone posting on the old thread about Max Factor brushes going through the till at 0.01p, but I can't find the details. Is anyone able to provide further details please? Might be one for liverbirds 'current offers' post at the start of this thread.

Oh, and o/t I know, but congrats to PaleScene on getting her third star :j

    Hi Frogling!
That was me! Im not sure if they are still doing them. I checked in Boots in Bluewater today but there was no more left on the Max Factor stand. Im going to check my local stores to see if i can find them but i think only the larger stores with the seperate make up counters would have them?

If anyone near a larger boots stand could check it would be very much appreciated!

They have the brushes in Cheltenham... but there is also a notice on the stand which says if you have a makeover and buy products to the value of £15 you get the brushes free. I'm not sure there is a Max Factor rep for the stand as I've never seen anyone man it so I'm a bit confused how you are meant to legitimately get booked up if you fancy the brushes...
It doesn't seem like this 'offer' is on in any of the other stores and the brushes are just kicking around. Which surely means if you pick them up to buy and they scan it's fine. Especially if they come up with a purchase price of a penny - because surely that is an offer you're taking up?

  • Does anyone know if the 100 points for the 89p face mask sachets still works? I was in Boots yesterday and the voucher on the advantage card machine said not available with the face mask, but I wondered if it's worth a try if I get a dozey looking assistant!

Also, I saw the Max Factor brushes in Boots yesterday. They were wooden handled little set - quite cute! They were still in their box and no one was around - couldn't remember the offer though! Will try and grab a packet today and see if they still go through for 1p!
