Bought these today. On shelf below veet spray there was a sign saying
bogof on boots hair removal products.
Looked like it had just been set there so I picked the above razor and refill blades, both at £3.79. As expected it didnt scan on till so I queried it and girl checked with supervisor. Said there arent on offer I asked her about the sign and had to show her.
She then said ''Hair removal doesnt mean razors''!!!!!
After quering what else you normally do with a razor and her checking she informed me they wernt on offer but would let me have them on offer.
May be worth checking in your store to see if sign up.0 -
charlotte3 wrote:Yes, I only picked up one, should have got 2 as they're BOGOF...DOH! must be the rain getting to my brain!
I'm gonna try and take back the 2 No7 suncare items I got yesterday and swap for Naturally sunkissed Body Moisturiser hopefully also on BOGOF, so I will try the tan wipes (2 this time) and see if the points get applied to both.
I don't think the Naturally Sunkissed Body Moisturiser is included in the BOGOF - its not with all the sun stuff, but with the posh lotions and potions by the make up counter?
However, I don't know whether the AC machine is still giving them in the new offers, but I picked up two (separately) last week using a £5.00 No 7 voucher and AC voucher for £2.00 off, so only cost me £1.50 - and its really nice (hence the reason I went back for a second)!0 -

Thanks to all who replied.
Ooooh, think of all those points I've missed out on over the months....
I always assumed (never tested) that my card would somehow "log" I had had that month's magazine and so couldn't have a second one...
You live and learn on this thread!0 -
I got my Lilac bag this morning.
I picked up two No7 Firm Body Balm £8.50 each BOGOF.
Used £5 No 7 voucher, £3.50 cash and got a No7 bag free, £50 of products for £3.50.
I'm going to try again once DP gets paid and do the same but also use the voucher for extra points from inside the bag.
The SA didn't bat an eyelid, just put it all through. My heart was going incase she challenged me.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
Trevor Sorbie male grooming products in old style packaging now greatly reduced....bargains to be had! (Sadly it seems the Trevor Sorbie Mg AC vouchers are now finished).
Facial wash 50ml 38p
Firm control Hair Gel 50ml 44p
Shine On Hair Glosser £1. A lighter alternative to Gel. 150ml tube.
Shaving Gel 200ml £1
Spruce Up Eau De Toilette 100ml £2.49 (smells similar to CKBe)
Moisturizer 100ml £1.50
Wax Stick 70ml £1.59
Wax Tin 100ml £1.50
Detox Shampoo 250ml £1.25
Shower Gel 200ml – 75p
Heres what to look for:
Note: A lot of stores are not showing the reduced prices as the new stock is sometimes mixed up with the old. If in doubt.....price check!
- What do you mean by price check? I wouldn't fancy walking up to a SA and asking her/him to check all of the prices of the items on display - I had a look but it wasn't obvious which is the new stuff and which is the new stuff. Anyone help explaining the difference between the old stock and the new?0 -
Old style TS stuff has the mg logo in an oval, which is pictured in the first post. The new one has just the logo, and I think it is larger.
The shampoos have different lids, which is difficult to explain, but very obvious when you see them! The new ones are sloping, the old are flattish.
I have bought quite a few little bits for my boys, to make up to a £10 purchase to get a voucher. It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
charlotte3 wrote:You're not limited to the number of magazines you can get. I just pick one up with every transaction and it goes through as free.
2 transactions today = 2 magazines and lots of lovely points vouchers :jto spend next time!!
You don't have to buy anything to get the magazine either. Just hand over your advantage card when you get the magazine scanned.0 -

As for the definition of "price check" - that's exactly what was meant! Obviously you may not be popular if there is a queue of 10 people behind you, but in order to ensure you get 75% off old stock, I think most would ask for a price check. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. chelltune wrote:Deefin or any other Corby Tarts, there was quite a bit of reduced stock on the back wall. Apparently they have loads in the stockroom which is gradually being put out. There was Evian products for as little as 49p, Ambre solaire lotios, baby cups, hair dyes, Botanics products, Hackett etc.:A official boots tart :A0
