Oh yes, Oh yes, Oh yes
I had an e-mail from the FOS today, Central Trust have agreed to uphold our complaint. The FOS are putting there offer in the post today.
Should I be put back in the position as if we never have had the ppi even if we have been through the FOS. Do we still add the 8% interest on top? If that is the case i think the offer should be around £12,000, fingers crossed xxxxx
WOW, excellent news!!!!:j:j:j:T:T:T
Sorry I did not get back to see this yesterday!
Well done and Congratulations Nat, that is fab news!:beer: XxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Thanks Di :A:A
I'm just waiting for the letter to drop through the letterbox from the FOS. I did go out and have a cheeky look at new dining room tables last night, I think I can have a little treat after all the hardwork I put in. xxxx0 -
A quick update I had my letter from the FOS it says the refund will be based on the general approach the FOS takes for missold ppi. I have a settlement form to sign and scan back to the FOS.
In the notes it says that where the loan was settled early they do have to pay the 8% per year simple interest.
Next step in now to wait for Central Trust to send through the figures but I have to allow them eight weeks to do this as they are busy!!!!!! What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!! If I haven't heard anything after the eight weeks I am then allowed to contact them myself. I still think I have a bit of a wait infront of me . When Central Trust offered me the low offer last June they quoted me a six month wait for payment, let's hope they have improved this year, otherwise I think I could be looking at getting my refund in December. Oh well at least it's on the way.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Hi amersall.
Have been about and only posting a little (mainly in the posts below the discussion thread) ok not a lot lol.:o.
My son's car broken down the other day, then my motor went on my dyson, it's just 2 years old, but luckily covered automatically for 5 years, and with the bad weather, the drainage have been pretty bad outside our house, it's been a nightmare with the flooding.
One thing after each other, so I have been sharing posts on each site just now and again, when I can squeeze in the time lol.:D
Other than that, all is ok, thank you.
Did take my youngest to see his dermotoligist earlier in the week at the local hospital, it's been a non-stop week.
I will be back though honey, don't you worry lol.:T:T
Hope you and your lovely family are keeping well Xxxxx:A:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
:A Ahhh Di it sounds like you have had one of those weeks, Rhys is under a dermatologist at hospital for his skin, I hope your son is ok, skin is so important when you are younger, it is much harder for boys, girl's can cover up with make- up.
Bedroom was all finished this week the new carpet was put down on Tuesday. Another room ticked of the list.
I haven't heard a word from Central Trust yet it will be very interesting how long they try and drag it out for .0 -

Hiya
Yes, it's defo been one of those weeks , catching up with me now as well.
Hope everything going ok for Rhys.
Daniel is under one for acne too, but to be honest, his skin is actually not that bad now, in the months waiting to be seen, he was at it's worse, but by the time his appointment came round, it more or less cleared up.
However, the dermo has given him Lymecyline for now, and if Daniel is not happy by 3 months they did mention about the Accutance, I am a little iffy on that to be honest.
Have you heard of that tablet hon?
Wow a new carpet, well done :T:T bet it looks stunning too.
Good for you.
I do hope you hear from Central Trust soon too.
The longer you have to wait, I think they should be paying you more for the waiting lol.:D
Good luck, and hope you hear soon, please keep us posted xxxx:A:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Rhys had been on the Lymecyline since 2009, his acne which he is lucky for is not on his face, but his back and chest were awful. Went to see a dermo in Jan 2012 as Rhys is getting the age where he wants to go on holiday with his mates. The dermo said the lymecyline had run out of steam and it was doing no good what so ever. Rhys was prescribed Roaccutane, and has been on it for eight weeks now. You cannot get it on the NHS it cost me £96.00 for six weeks of tablets. I was so scared about him starting it, he had to have full set of bloods done before starting the treatment as it can effect the liver. He has the horrible dry lips with it and he can be a bit snappy, but my gosh it is hitting the acne hard. Got to go back and see the Dermo in five weeks he told us there was only a 5% chance of the acne coming back again. ]

Hiya
Thank you for sharing your experience of your son's issues of accutane with me.:A
As you know Daniel has special needs (form of autism) and can have mood swings in with that as well, so if he were to be prescribed these in the near future, wonder if this could make the mood swings worse, or no difference at all?
They did give me a form ready, for his bloods to be done, and if he decides he's not happy with the result by taking the tabs he's been prescribed for now by 3 months, his bloods has to be done by you own GP before he attends the next dermo appointment.
I did hear about the dry mouth/lips, and body aches etc.
Daniel takes inhalers as well, and that was another worry I did have, but when asked they did not say it would be a problem, but did say like any other meds there is always side affects, but the accutance may just be a little more than the usual.
That is a good outlook for your son then.:T:T
Great news, please keep me posted honey, that will be fab, thank you. xxxx:A:AThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0
