Yeah me too I totally agree, well my hubby was unemployed for over a year and lucky now he have found himself a new job, but even when he tried with things through the job centre, he was fobbed off with this and that, and I know there are some poor folks out there still looking, and backs are turned - sad!
Thank you hun, will get the mortgage on the straight and narrow soon, paid most of the arrears with the win from the FSCS but it did not cover it all, we will get there and maybe not so much harrassment now.;):j
Hi di, glad to see your hubby has a job and things are inproving financially.

Thank you Marshallka, hope you and your family are well.:A;)X
Dad have actually been having conversations the last few days again and all making sense as well, he was all excited with hubby having a new job and made witty remarks like "its about time" lmao :rotfl:.
So it just goes to show he is not as bad as you see some poor folks.
They had actually put the meds back to what they were like before when he was like this over the xmas period and so.
If you remember I psoted they adjusted them because of his chest, but now realise it makes no difference, so increased them again.
Did you see that all over the news yesterday about the funding for this? XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi Di, Glad your Dad has perked up the meds sound like they are helping:T.
Whats happened to SD must be working too hard:D Maybe he'll come on if I mention we have a huge box of scallops fresh from Loch Fyne. I know a lot of people dont like them but I did them in a ginger garlic and light fish and oyster sauce with mashed potatoes (not very exotic but love to mop up the juices) and even those in the family who weren't too keen cleaned their plates. Tonight we're having the rest with bacon wrapped around scallop and chorizo sausage.
Any news on Paul? This is the worst of being friends through sites hope you are reading this Paul please let us know how you are.:smileyhea
Hey Gerry how are you doing? Could do with some Glesga banter:A0 -
HELP!!!
I have recieved the following:
Dear Mr XXXXXX
Thank you for your recent letter received by us on 29th January 2010.
It is important that we are made aware of any instances where our customers feel that their Payment Protection Insurance has been mis-sold so I have fully investigated the issue that you have raised.
Having considered the information that you have provided, we are unable to find any evidence to support your allegations that the policy was mis-sold. We believe the sale of this policy met our own high standards and those set out by the Regulator. However, we are sympathetic to our customer’s personal circumstances and therefore , purley as a gesture of goodwill and in the interest of bringing this matter to a conclusion, we are prepared to cancel the insurance and credit the agreement with all sums that have been paid towards the insurance. Furthermore, we are willing to pay statutory interest on each payment made calculated out at 8% simple from the date that each payment was made until the statutory interest is paid, which is in line with the award made by the FOS in such cases.
Which is £1115.98 + £117.05 (Interest)
Why have they got to pay it back into the agreement? is this fact?
Can I ask for them to send me the money in a cheque?
Any advise would be greatly recieved!
