I've been trapped in the world of SD, where the river runs of Scrumpy Jack and it rains with steaks! (I bloody wish!) :rotfl: :rotfl:
I will be around a bit now. Sorry! :D
I think it would be nice to give you dad a home cooked dinner which he really likes as then it will hopefully jog his memory to the good times at home. All to do with sense-memory relation. :)
Girl wise has been an epic failure. The girl never showed with the chocky cake or text me and she walked past today without popping in. :( And the other girl should have been in today but due to procedures, she was somewhere else. So all in all, it's been pants. Dirty, big, stained, y front pants. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My daughter has been taken off iron now as she does not have iron aneamia and its been proved. I rang our docs today cause I wanted to know if her problems of catching her breathe could be anything from them and then I said that i could not understand why she was still on them if it was proved that after taking them religiously for over 2 months her iron had gone up but her hemoglobin has not by much so that could suggest another type of anaemia. They then said that they had referred her to hospital and that is who we should talk to and that they had received a letter from the hossie. I then called the hospital and they said this doc was actually looking at my daughters file now and she would call me back. She did do and they have now said that its proved she is not deficient in iron so no need to take pills and that her aneamia was not due to iron.

What they have said now is that they are giving us open access to the ward at Macclesfield (miles away!!!) and we have to take her straight to there when she next has a bleed. They want to actually test her bloods and clottings etc during an attack and take photos too which sounds feasible as it was only cause our doc did the tests there and then that she found these things out. We are now looking for another type of aneamia TBH which includes petechial rashes.:(

Thanks Di, we are not on edge TBH cause its gone on for so long but when she is ill with it I do worry and of course when bloods are showing something then again you worry but not too worried at the moment.

We have been there a few times and she knows the ropes. Just hoping they actually diagnose something though this time and not say "we don't know". Sounds like they are wanting to get to the bottom of it themselves and our docs were fed up with the other hospital that they transferred her to this one with a good child doc and hematologist. Its just that our Doctors get worried themselves as they have to admit a person with this type of rash so what can they do? If it ever was life threatening then they would be in trouble. My daughter panics a bit now over it or should i say gets frustrated cause she wants to know. I think its a small cappillary type of problem so nothing serious and she has been like it for 10 years. Something bleeds and causes her bloods to be out so there is something. That has been proved but its not iron.
