Oh blimey, my mum was called back for her mamo but luckily everything was OK. I hope it is for your mum too Di. When I had my lump it was that they called me at home the day after having the mamo and scan and said that someone else wanted to do their own scan on it and it was the cancer woman:eek:. It was a solid tumor and they did a core biopsy (which took forever for the results) but it was benign. I know you have troubles with it in the family and that is why they are probably being extra precautious and its like with my sis and hers. Just hope things work out OK.

Its all trials and tribulations for all of us. Just glad though that we are living here and not like the poor sods in Haiti begging for water and food and shelter.

Yeah that's right, I think obviously mum was also worried because they removed the left breast a few years ago due to cancer and its on the back of her mind with the worry of dad as well.
Technology they use these days are amazing, thank goodness.;)

Sorry to hear that you and your mum had a scare though Marshallka, its an awful experience isn't it?

Yes an awful time for those in Haiti, I do often feel guilty for having aq roof over my head and food to eat when they have absolutely nothing.

I know the type of thing. You attend for two weeks to gain your confidence etc CV writing and that and then you do the works trial thing. It was voluntary here but my son opted for it. He only gets moaned at at home.

How did you do with your door to door collections Di?

Yes that's right, apart from hubby had to go every week, only a min of 5 hours a week.

Oh......the collections, hubby done this for me, the lady in the church knows him from since he was a little lad, I collected from family and he went round the doors, and done pretty good as well.;)

  • Hi Di and Marshallka
I am not surprised that you went off your head today Di and it colours (darkens) the rest of your day too, I try reciting positive things in my head but its amazing how negative thoughts manage to squeeze through. I am praying for you. Marshallka is such a strength. xxxx

Thanks for your kind comments donotpassgo.
It is a horrid time and apparently its the most depressing time of the year too. (wasn't that yesterday!!) but things will seem much better in the springtime. (I hope)

And Di, you need to get and see your mum more perhaps with all she is going through. Can you perhaps offer some relief for her with your dad and hubby take care of things at home?? Why not go and stay for a while whilst she gets over things. Just a thought and it may help you too to be able to help.

Will be off to see mum soon, do her shopping, my older sister was there as her Carer earlier, helps with cleaning and usual household chores and we all take in turns to have her to our houses for tea, just to get her out of the house, as it does her good.;)
