They are not bothering her though at all with side effects and she is great at remembering them so hopefully hematology should work out why she is anaemic. Still not heard of another appointment though since we went at Christmas. Should be soon hopefully.
All the best here Marshallka and to your lovely daughter bless her.:A;), XXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

marshallka wrote: »Good news. My son has had a letter today for a visit to the Future Jobs Fund in our area. Looks like contacting your MP actually works.:j I know this is not guaranteed but they at least should be able to offer something. We live an unemployment hot spot.
The Fund aims to create 150,000 jobs. These will be aimed primarily at 18-24 year olds who have been out of work for a year. The idea is that from 2010 everyone in this age group who has been looking for work for a year will get an offer of a job or training lasting at least 6 months. Bids are encouraged across all areas across Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). DWP will also specifically target 50,000 jobs in unemployment hotspots and anticipate that around 10,000 of the 150,000 jobs created will be 'green' jobs.
Brilliant news Marshallka lets hope your son does get something soon, well done for your action looks like its paid off.0 -

Any news today for your hubby Di?????0

Yes, some news, although not what we were expecting, the girl contacted hubby and another that was to start on the first list to let them know the supplies with Corus are delayed..........I can't believe it........and I almost excuse me for saying this "threw up", and sorry for the delay, but will be in contact for ASAP, she said he is still in this first list to be taken on.
I know things have been tough with recession and this and that, but I'm getting rather fed up of hearing its positive then back down again, and I had a bad feeling this would happen, she said now they are trying to move on for sooner than MARCH........:mad:.
So now he is looking again for something even if its only short term until he hears..its the only way.
This had actually caused a bit of a argument today, I have had enough to be honest, I know its not his fault or their fault but it seems to be happening all the time. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Even though she rang this was the message here:
Just wanted to keep you all informed due to the supplier issues, we cannot supply on the first intake as originally thought.
However, we are hoping to get this rectified for Feb/March 2010 intakers.
I appreciate your eagerness, unfortunately there is nothing I can do to speed this up.
I will however, keep you informed and will be in contact as soon as this situation changes, and my apologies for the delay. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Well, he could go on something like my son is going on as there is one for older workers as well. At least he would have something better than being at home with no job. I will try and find all the information out for it or do you have it? Why not do what we did and contact the MP? Its got to be worth a try or contact my MP (just kidding of course). At least she did something for us. I know my son has not actually got a job yet but there is a little hope now. Your hubby would "definately" be able to join it as he has been unemployed for so long. Its better than nothing. If it were me I would perhaps be looking to change his job entirely and try for something different.0
